  1. I'm affraid im going to have to build me another Corsair now. The one I was working on, I completely messed up the paint job, now trying removing the paint isnt going as planned. HOWEVER, I do have the same kit, I think Ill just start over. Its the 72nd Academy F4U-1. What do you all think?
  2. ... just a few things here. Ist, im removing a paint job with easy off. How long do you leave it on before taking it off? and what do you clean it off with? 2nd, how long does resin last unopened? I have some i havent opened up but its like maybe three years old. ANd how about opened ones? another thing, ok, three things, how long does Epoxy glue last if its been opened? I have some of that thats like 4 years old, and some newer, but not much. :D
  3. ..first pressing the trigger button down? I seem to have this problem, Im using MM enamels, thinned with lacquer thinner, but when I spray, it like splatters in the very beginning, and every subsequent time I depress the trigger. When I turn my air pressure up above 22psi or so, it doesnt do it as much, but i usually dont like spraying at that PSI level. I try to stay down around 18 or so. Im using a paasche double action A/B.
  4. Does anyone know if theirs any otherModeling Helicopters type of books out there? And if so, if you know, let me know . Like the title, etc. Im reading over the Kalmbach publishing manuscript guidlines right now, and this is the first hurdle that needs to be passed. Thanks everyone Pat Hensley
  5. As mentioned in a post from a few days ago that I left about a Helicopter modeling book im proposing to write. I'd be interested in knowing who might want to be some type of contributor for their completed helicopter models for the Picture gallery section. This is all still in its infancy now, but I just need to start gathering information. If anyone interested in anyway, please contact me off board here to my email. Thanks Pat Hensley Model Designs Ltd. email: modelman62@hotmail.com
