  2. if you put on a say a thin layer of putty, what grit paper do you use to sand it off with?
  3. if you want to wipe a part down with alcohol, which is it? ISO Propyl or denatured? thanks all
  4. if i fill a seam ( a really thin one) with Mr surfacer 1200, how long should i wait to wipe up the excess?
  5. when you all put say a seam, and say you do a fairly thin layer of putty and the seam shows through, like after the puttys dried, do you just put more putty over that first layer or sand down the first one then do another one? Thanks

  9. when i cut my ailerons out, on the wing part, do i just put a piece of strip styrene laying flat on that part, then on the aileron part do i need to make that with like a half round piece of styrene ? or just flat on both pieces? im not used to cutting and dropping my flaps and things, so this is new to me here. if anyone maybe could direct to a pic, that would be great too. Thanks ALL
  10. which method is best or which do you all prefer? the back of the xacto or the needle in a pin vise? and why? I've done the needle way before and my lines never end up looking that good for some reason.

  14. some person in my household thought it was funny by switching my low tac masking tape with the regular type , i didnt catch this in time now i have the glue residue on my fuselage. Whats good to use to get that crap off with?
  15. after youve got off your ailerons/flaps and what-not, what do you fill that space with? like on the wing part and on the part you cut off. just some styrene strip or what? thanks all

  18. how do you all have your paint bottles layed out? I just have mine all jumbled together and i was wondering what effect method any of you use to easily locate a color. I have mine on shelves.
