  1. I just checked into it and I can in fact set it up so you can design your own using the supplied logos. Still working on the details of the site. Hopefully it will be up and running tomorrow.
  2. That's the beauty of doing it the way we are doing it. I can move the design around, resize it, etc. The only thing I can't get that I wanted is the sleeve print. The pics posted earlier are just a sampling of what will be available. I can add additional shirts with just the front left chest, just the back, whatever we want to do. I'll add more options as far as placement later today. I may even be able to allow the buyer to choose which logo he wants and the location.
  3. Currently not but hopefully in the near future.
  4. Sorry for the delay in posting the revision. Here's what the latest design will look like in basic t-shirt form. In addition to this tagless tee, there will be another tee, 2 hoodies, a tank, ladies v-neck, youth sizes and a coffee cup. Hopefully more stuff later. The prices are set to maximize Steve's portion. Everything beyond production cost goes straight to him. No middle man, no games. If that is not enough, we don't have to wait for a minimum amount of shirts to sell. They will be printed on demand. The site will open soon after Steve greenlights it. Sample pics.
  5. We're nearing the point where these shirts can start being purchased. It's been difficult finding whether or not the companies that print them on a campaign basis will print on the sleeve. At this point I have not found anyone that will. I'm going to suggest that we do the Cancer logo on the left chest only on this project and I will work out a Generic ARC logo to submit to Steve for approval to use on shirts for modeling type events in the future. We could add a logo on the back but it will only add to the expense and therefore the price. I will set up an ARC store with the chosen vendor.
  6. Here's the first pile. I have 2 more McClaren kits and quite a bit of 48th detail parts I'm going to blow out. I'll confirm the other stuff when I get a chance. This stuff is pulled from the stash and ready for a road trip to a new home. Besides the kits listed and pictured, I will do the artwork for and cut a custom mask set for 1 individual. Kits, 1:24 McClaren M8 kit#5002 unopened 1:48 DC-3 kit#5610 opened but seems complete 1:72 XB-35 kit#8615 opened but seems complete 1:72 Xb-49 kit#8619 unopened 1:48 IL-2 kit#3408 unopened 1:48 IL-2 (skis) kit#3409 unopened
  7. I busted out a prototype. (cause I have a touch of OCD) Here's some of my thoughts. Shirts 1 and 2 will be serialized for the Bamfords only. Shirt choices black 100% cotton T or black 100% cotton polo. The Bamfords' shirts are on me. I redesigned it a bit to make it more production friendly. I was on the fence for a bit but I like the new design better.
  8. Here are the alternatives of which I spoke. It was suggested to me that I try to incorporate the color and shape of the logo more into the design. Personally, I think the single color original still has a better impact. I do like the one on the right below also. The text on the bottom is chopped off a bit in this file but the originals are fine. I just forgot to resize the artboard.
  9. Welcome back Ed! I myself returned about a year ago after a nearly 10 year break.
  10. Even if I don't produce the shirts, I'll help Falcon any way I can. I can certainly keep an eye on the designs and whoever winds up producing them. I can also gauge whether or not the price per unit is appropriate. Falcon is not too far from me either.
  11. It's all a ruse for his real quest........... Yamashita's gold.
  12. Golf (polo) shirts are an option. They can get pretty pricey for the nice ones. As far as the placement, that's one of the things that needs to be decided. Leaving it off the back would drive the raw cost down considerably. I tinkered with a couple alternative designs but did not feel like they had the same impact. Will post a couple alternatives after I get home from the grind.
  13. Yes I can. I need to see how small I can cut them. I need to be able to get it down to about 4 inches to go on left chest. If not it may need to go to a screen printer. Good news is, if I can cut them that size there can be a decal option for your car too.
  14. That was what I was trying to accomplish. Instant recognition of both breast cancer awareness and ARC. As RCAFFAN pointed out, anything using Steve's logo or any combination thereof will require his approval.
  15. I get where you're going with options and such but I'd be up for the 'ol Henry Ford option. You can have any color T you want, as long as it's black......and pink. I took a little liberty with the site's logo. Hope I survive the evening.
  16. Since the operation is for a charitable cause, you could simply spread the expense evenly. You'd almost have to. Instead of a white shirt being xx.00 dollars and a pink being xa.00 dollars, all shirts are yy.00 dollars. I offer myself as an option and am willing to help on the vendor side of things. I am however, a one man operation. Using a vendor such as teespring will allow you to reach outside our little world. A well run campaign from such an operation could result in a nice stack of cash. Best course of action at the moment would be working out the art and getting a shirt count. I w
  17. Is anyone in charge of this operation yet? I can buy the shirts wholesale, design them, produce them and ship them out. Buying a batch of shirts definitely helps with pricing. Shipping is obviously dependent on their destination. As far as shirt colors, you could open it beyond two colors if you wanted to. The supplier I use discounts on number of shirts ordered regardless of color. Colors are usually more money than white and darks require any white to by printed, thereby adding expense. So, I can order any color, any size in a particular line and still get a bulk discount. Not sure what
  18. If you are using Photoshop, look into making an action. You simply record the process once and you can use it over and over. I find using Fast Stone image viewer gives me many more options. You can add watermarks, copyrights, text ballooons, frames, resize, apply levels, etc. They have a standalone called FastStone image resizer that works the same. They also have a screen capture program that can do a lot of neat things as well. And it's free! FastStone
  19. I guess it depends on your reason for selling it. If you need to turn it into cash quickly, you'll have to settle for what you can get. If it's anywhere near as nice as it appears, (and I'm sure it is) I would not take less than 1100.00 USD for it.
  20. WOW! I learned something today. On top of that awesome tip, I learned that when you are in google images and using chrome you can drag and drop an image from your computer into the search bar and it will perform the same search. This will come in quite handy. Thanks for the awesome tip!
  21. Agreed. The side feed is nice when you need to sight down the brush. I use one when I shoot clear. Seems like I can keep a better wet edge not looking around the cup. I use gravity feed for everything else. If you don't intend to use it for a single task, I'd go with the gravity feed.
  22. I was locked out due to the dreaded "could not determine IP address" issue. I guess my isp finally refreshed my ip address.
