  1. Several New Releases over the past few weeks https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/c/172-3d-printed-resin (I am aware of the broken image links and am working on fixing those) https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/c/148-3d-printed-resin https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/c/132-3d-printed-resin https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/c/135-3d-printed-resin https://www.flyingleathernecksdecals.com/c/118-3d-printed-resin
  2. No, not really. The Marine Corps as an organization didn't make the announcement, nor has anyone officially confirmed it. One thing to keep in mind though, is this. I am in no way stating as matter of fact this claim isn't true. All I am relaying is what's been told to me via private messages.
  3. He quite literally states what they're for in his post. And yes, they're present on the missile in flight and are blown/burned away when the missile is fired.
  4. No, as in ZERO shootdowns. There is not a single mention of this on the DVIDS website, nor has the Marine Corps made any sort of statement (official or unofficial). The Aviation Geek Club is quite literally the only publisher of this story, via the BBC. While there are mentions of it on X, and a couple other sites, not a single one has been verified by official sources. After looking into it further myself, I also find it odd that the ONLY person telling the story is the pilot himself. A young Captain shoots down 7 drones (which have to have occurred o
  5. Maybe not. I've received several PM's on Facebook from Marines on the MEU that are stating it isn't true. Regarding the ADU-299, I should have it released in a couple weeks.
  6. About as stupid as you'll feel if they do release it. Oh, and the next time you want to send a personal message with disparaging comments, be man enough to sign your name to it. People may not like me or my opinion, but at least they know exactly who it is they don't like, unlike some cowards that hide behind made up user names. Cheers
  7. The A is completely different from the B, with the vertical tails and ejection seat being about the only parts common between the two.
  8. Oh for Christ's sake, Japan never flew the F-14, F-117, F4D, F4U, F-16 or F-4B either. Yet, that didn't stop Tamiya from releasing kit of those subjects. Japan doesn't fly the F-35C is the absolute dumbest reason modelers use when they claim Tamiya won't do that version.
  9. It was never set to release in 2023. The design isn't even completed yet.
  10. You don't need to have a PayPal account. I simply brought up PayPal to explain that shipping Internationally is less expensive using the Global Post option they provide. International rates have already fallen, which is why I made my original post. All you need to do is add International shipping to your Ebay listings. Shipping Internationally is no different than shipping domestic. Just trying to help as you're limiting your client base when it isn't necessary.
  11. If I may, you're making this much more difficult than what it needs to be, for yourself and your clients. As you sell through Ebay, in what appears to be exclusively, all you need to do is click the International shipping option and set a shipping amount. Ebay takes care of all of the customs forms, as well as the collection and paying of VAT for orders shipped to the countries that charge it. I just shipped an order placed through Ebay to Turkey, and the shipping was only $14.00. There is also a new Global Post option that is even less expensive. However, not all orders seem to b
  12. In addition to the PHR set above, there is also the Sierra Hotel Resin one : https://sierrahotelresin.net/shop/ols/products/48408-a-10-inletengine-fan--exhaust-set-academy Personally, I would go with either the PHR or SHR sets as the designers for both worked directly with A-10 maintainers for references and measurements. I'd bet money the others based their respective sets off photos taken from the net or books.

  14. Only managed to get one finished this year, and it was a kit I started back in 2006! Sometime during 2007 I got it about 85% complete, then we bought a house and I got orders to Cherry Point. It sat packed away for the next several years. Over the course of the past two years, it was robbed of parts to finish other builds for VMFA(AW)-533. In October, I was asked by MAG-31 to build a model for their Marine Corps Ball Guest of Honor. So, I pulled this out, cleaned it up and robbed parts from another kit to finish it. An absolute 8 footer, but the MajGen loved it and that's all that matters.

  17. Still drawing it, along with several other sheets. Working directly with 401 on this, and the goal is to get everything 100% accurate.
