Send whatever you have. I am arranging all of the photos I receive by squadron and year the photos were taken. The idea is to cover as many different schemes as possible and I may not have photos of the aircraft you have. -

Yes, a good friend locally has a high end slide scanner I can use. Send me an email and we'll work out the details. Thank you! -
Does anyone have a Hasegawa 72nd scale F-35B they want to part with? I'd like to build one for a friend that just returned from a deployment. If you have one to part with, please let me know via email. flyingleathernecks@att.net Thank you, Dave

Gentlemen, I am writing a book covering the Colors and Markings of Marine Corps Aircraft from 1989 to 2024 (planned release is November 10, 2024) and looking for contributions. If you're wondering why so far out, there are a few reasons. First, this will provide plenty of time to continue to gather as many photos as possible to be considered for the books. Second, 2024 "rounds out" to 35 years from 1989 and lastly, it will hopefully allow the inclusion of more AH-1Z, F-35B/C and possibly CH-53K aircraft. If you have any personal photos you would li

I am not MAW Decals, that is/was Creighton Henthorn. He had a sheet drawn, but I have no idea what the status of his line is at the moment. I also have them drawn, but they're not a priority at the moment.

Best aftermarket is Aires. However, the kit seat is excellent and just needs new belts and harnesses (if you don't want to use the decals).

Gentlemen, A long time friend and fellow Marine I served with back in the early 90's is looking for this kit to gift his son (son is in the Air Force and will be soloing) in April. I in turn want to gift it to him. If you have one to part with, please contact me at the following email address: flyingleathernecks@att.net I can buy or trade a Kinetic 1/48 F/A-18 Blue Angels kit for it. Thanks, Dave

What is the BuNo of the aircraft you're modeling?
-
HGW is the brand.
-
Actually no, I missed those posts. I do hope the kit gets released.

I posted this comment on Facebook earlier this morning. I've also discussed this possibility with someone very involved in the hobby and they believe it's possible based on other factors (that he did not share with me). I will again state that I am not saying this as matter of fact, it is simply speculation on my part. I'm beginning to wonder if AMK completely lost their a$$ financially on the previously released kits (MiG's, Kfir, etc) and couldn't move forward with the F-14D until the previous debt was paid off. Perhaps the Indiegogo/pre-order endeavor was to cover those debts a

I can assure you the photos posted on line don't do the kit justice. Academy really hit this one out of the ball park!
-
Yes, it is on their list.
-
Nope.... tried it and they don't come out. They're just too small.
-
Huh? If the kit is released with all of the issues that were pointed out several months ago, it is all the designers fault. The tools are cut from the CAD, and the CAD is created by the designers. How could it not be their fault?
