  1. That's looking really good. I dug out my Tamiya Warthog that I started four years ago...not the best A-10, but it's going together quite well. Here's where I'm at...
  2. I am looking for the LAU-114/A sidewinder rails for my A-10 project. I know Wolfpack Designs made these at one time but they seem to scarce. Can anyone help me with spare parts out of either the Hobbyboss or the Italeri kit?? PM if you can help. Thanks!!
  3. Working on the closing all the main landing gear doors. Like the nose gear doors, these were not made to be in a closed position, although, they did fit much better than the nose gear doors. This post will be updated with pics later today...
  4. Of course something like the above comes out when I start a project like this.
  5. Summer's been taking it's toll on the production line. But now, it's time to get back at it! I am now totally convinced that model manufacturers have no idea that maybe one day a modeler might want to close the landing gear doors on a model kit! It's almost like, "yeah, that looks about right...go with it..."
  6. I'm not in Wichita's region, but the last time I talked to them, they had the whole package put together. I wonder what happened?
  7. Columbia, SC! Wow! When I talked to the "Dear Leader" in the Air Capital IPMS group in Wichita...as far as he was concern they were a shoo-in...tough break!
  8. V-22 flight decks are flat black. The seat cushions are black as well. About the only other color in there is the white on the standby instruments and white lettering on the keyboards and the gray for the oxygen hose. The TCL and the cyclic had gray buttons. Basically...ALL BLACK.

    C 130 item

Yep! Kelly's right! I remember as a young airman learning my CUT APG duties that the No.1 blade goes up! If I remember right there was a dot on the number one blade. Steve E C-130H GAC Troop
  10. First engine on!! Additional windows added to the aft fuselage...still need to add a small one over the middle window.
  11. WOW! That really looks the part!! Well done!
  12. WOW! You did a bang up job on that kit!!! Well Done!
  13. No I didn't. A good friend of mine, who's an excellent woodworker, made a few of those for me. That particular base is actually for a C-130 commission build I'm doing. I just "borrowed" it to get the model set at the right attitude.
  14. After stressing on where and how to exactly place the square sleeve in the fuselage, I think I hit it spot on. The patches you see on the base are the real deal from the 1960's.
  15. Flight Deck work... With the Fisher Models nose dry fitted Windscreen test fit...not a lot visible...
  16. Wings are in-work. The trailing edge was pretty warped. Careful gluing was needed.
  17. That looks like the real deal!! Well Done!
  18. I need Monogram 1/72 B-36 crew member figures. I have a few commissioned in-flight builds and these look great in 1/72 cargo/transport aircraft. If have some, PM me.
  19. BTW...I haven't forgotten about you...I've been busier than a....well you know the rest.
