  1. Wow, outstanding work. The big E looks great.
  2. I'm building 2 right now, one with about every resin option possible. There are so many great references on how to build the kit, all it really takes is some patience. Not every kit wants to be Tamiya F-16. You will do just fine.
  3. Outstanding. I look forward to the master applying his craft again.
  4. Your paint and weathering are insanely good. I'll have to study your builds hard, to even come close to that quality of work.
  5. Thanks a lot Steve good information. Love your nick name as well. GBR
  6. Calling all F-14 experts. Can anyone provide or direct me to some good resources that show how to best put in Aires Wheel Well Replacements for the Hasegawa F-14 kits. While the nose gear bay is pretty much a drop and replace, the afts require surgery on a very delicate bottom part of the fuselage. I guess i'm looking for any advice, pictures, suggestions, tips, anything. Thanks big time in advance, Jeff
  7. Outstanding Brian, look forward to seeing your results. Thanks for keeping this very valuable information alive for us.
  8. Brian, just curious if you have used Phil's wash personally yet or not and how using it changes this step of you TPS weathering. I use his wash exclusively now and have nothing but the highest praise in the outcome, look, and super ease of use. I plan to use a your notes here in my upcoming Promodellers GB and will be using the washes in place of the gel pen technique. (which I sucked at it, but that's user error not the technique). Jeff
  9. Thanks "M". I'll get back to you on it as right now I'm trying to determine what choices are out there and if this is the project I want to go forward with for a Gulf War GB subject.
  10. Can anyone recommend any decal sheets for VF-14 during the Gulf War '91 era for a F-14A VF-14 Tophatters? Thanks in advance
  11. Great guys!, That's the plan going forward now. Thanks so much for all the input.
  12. Great Job! Any chance you can take a few shots of your photo setup. Quite curious.
  13. Has anyone tried to use Simple Green product as a method to degrease or remove agents from Resin parts? I hear a product called Brite White is common, so just curious as I know Simple Green is a non-toxic degreaser. thanks all
  14. Great Stuff guys, Thanks for the info Brian, I'll make sure I send a picture or two and ask my buddy building another tomcat using a set of your beautiful marking to do the same.
  15. Is your loadout on her accurate (in time) or something you just chose to display her with? I ask because I'm not sure what to put on my 'Queen' when I start in the next month. Thanks for sharing this outstanding build.
