VERY nice! Which kit? Academy? Monogram? Scott CNJC-IPMS

Actually, to answer your question, I made the "67457" on my computer. I made two copies of the number and applied them over each other to prevent "bleed through". The clear carrier film disappeared with the coat of Future. Scott CNJC-IPMS

I used MM Acrylic for the ADC gray using my old Aztek airbrush. The gloss finish is from a coat of Future. Scott CNJC-IPMS

Here are a few pics of my 1/48 Academy F-4D kit. I used Steel Beach Intake covers, Quickboost ejection seats and Eduard P/E cockpit details and RFB tags and AIM-9 seeker-head covers. Decals are from Caracal. The figure and ladder are from Hasegawa. This was a great kit! The only area's that were trouble were the fit of the outside intake parts. The Caracal decals worked great! No problems applying them at all. Thanks for looking. Scott CNJC-IPMS

I was doing some research on Iwata Super Lube and I found this mentioned on this forum... "There are two lubricants that I recommend for airbrushes. Badger's Needle Juice and Medea's Super Lube. They were both formulated for airbrushes specifically and they will not affect your paints in any way. I put lube on the front half of the needle to help with tip dry and to stop paint from adhering to the needle. I also put a drop on the bottom of the trigger as well as a little on the sides of the trigger where it rubs against the body of the airbrush. I even put a drop on my f

I am getting a Iwata Eclipse SBS side feed airbrush and have a question. Does anyone know if a Testors Aztek airbrush siphon feed cap attachment will fit the hole on the Iwata Eclipse SBS side feed dual action airbrush? I have a few left-over Aztek siphon caps/cups and hopefully I can attach them to the SBS. Thanks. Scott CNJC-IPMS

Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and Iwata Revolution HP-BR question..
F-16 replied to F-16's topic in Tools 'n' Tips
Thanks everyone for the info. I appreciate it. I think right now I am going to stick with the Iwata HP-CS version. Maybe look into the CR version as well. Scott CNJC-IPMS -
I am looking into getting a Iwata HP-CS to replace my 20 year old Aztek. One suggestion was that the Iwata Revolution HP-BR is similar to the HP-CS model but is cheaper. I have read the Amazon reviews and the CS is fantastic! Amazon reviews for Iwata HP-CS What's the difference? Does anyone have both brushes and can tell me the differences? Thanks for your help. Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S. I only use MM and AMMO acrylics in the airbrush. NO enamels or lacquers.

Thank you all for the wealth of information. I appreciate it! Would it be safe to say that both the Aca and GWH kits are "easy/putty-free" builds? Scott CNJC-IPMS

WOOHOO!! 😍😍😍 I was wondering if you could include the two small red/green lights on the intakes as decal stencils. Kinetic has them but Monogram does not. These light are very viable on the finished model, and should be included on the stencil sheet. Also, will you have enough stencils to do more than one model? (Like two or three models?) I'm thinking of getting a 1/144 B-52H kit, but I'm not sure which one. I'm trying to decide between the Academy, GWH and Revell. I think they are all the same in breakdown of parts. Details/accuracy in this small scale is not that important for me. What I'm looking for is a good/easy fitting kit that won't give me trouble. I have read a few build/kit reviews and can't decide. Everyone has there favorite. How are these kits to build? Any trouble? Thanks for any suggestions you can give me. Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S. I was also thinking of getting the Minicra
