I am wondering where the oxygen tanks were located in the B-29A The Academy instructions say to put them on the inside under the center wing box.. However, I have Googled this and can't find any picture that shows the tanks in this location. Was it possible they were moved to another location? Did they interfere with the equipment for the radar in this area? Is there any pictures of this area that show the tanks in this location? Thanks for your help. Scott CNJC-IPMS

Did the "M" have the landing gear further outboard? Aren't the inner gear doors further "outboard" than on the "D"? Scott CNJC-IPMS

I need the decals from the 1/72 Academy B-29A kit #12528. My kit does not have the decals in the box. If anyone has this kit and can help me out, please send me a PM on this board. Thank you. Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S. I know there are other aftermarket sheets out there, but I specifically need the ones from this kit.

A few years ago I built the KB-50 version of the 1/72 Academy/Minicraft kit... One of the problems I had was getting the cockpit canopy to fit. It looked like it was too small for the opening. Perhaps it was short shot? Anyway, I was wondering any of the other boxing's have this same problem with the fit of the cockpit canopy? I am planning on doing another kit soon... I did use the Squadron vac canopy, but I would like to use the kits if it fits. Do any of the other Academy B-29 kits have the poor canopy fit? Or was this just a Academy/Minicraft kit problem?

Does anyone know of a online tutorial or video that shows how to scratch build 1/48 hydraulic actuators for landing gears, air brakes Etc. Many of the old Monogram aircraft kits are missing these actuators and they have to be scratch built by the builder. But how? Thanks. Scott CNJC-IPMS

I am wondering if there is any color difference between... Panzer Schwarzgrau RAL 7021 and Schwarzgrau RLM 66 My Panzer 2 decal instructions say to use RAL 7021, but it looks the same as RLM 66. Are these colors the same or close? Would RLM 66 be a close substitute to use? Thanks. Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S I posted this in the Armour forum as well.

Has anyone used "Deluxe Materials Looks like Glass"? Deluxe Materials Looks like Glass video.. If needed, how do you thin it? Do you use water, Windex, ammonia, window cleaner for clean up/removal? From what I have read, it works just like Future. Which is why I was wondering what to clean it with. Scott CNJC-IPMS

From what I can see on a ICANN LOOKUP.. arcforums.com registry info The site is good until 2023(?). Is that correct? Scott CNJC-IPMS

Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it the help. This brings up another question. What is the purpose of this "walkway" box. Can crews, if needed, walk out of this "box" to get to the removable panels by the flaps, Etc. The main structure (between the wing spars) looks robust enough to support a crewman walking on the wing as far as the wing fence(?). I think crews can even walk over the landing gear bay area. Do crews ever need to walk out on the wing outside of the "wing walk" box? Scott CNJC-IPMS P.S. What are those "cross

I was about to apply the black wing walk lines to my 1/48 F-100 using Aeromaster decals. However I was hesitant on what they looked like.... I noticed that they printed "NO STEP" and "WALKWAY" on either side of the black lines. Is this printing correct? I don't remember seeing any F-100 wing walk with these words. Should I cut the "words" off? Does anyone have any pics that show these words in this area of the wing? Scott CNJC-IPMS

So who destroyed the plane? I have heard some people say that the Russians did when they attacked the airfield. Another says that the Ukrainians destroyed the plane so the Russian could not use it. Which is correct? How was the plane damaged and by who? Scott CNJC-IPMS

I cant seem to find the instrument panel or side consoles. I guess they will be PE? The cockpit tub looks rather bare and flat on the consoles... Scott CNJC-IPMS

They are there, but not as pronounced on the airplane... My concern is that the RAM panels are just like the Hasegawa ones.. RAISED.... But can't tell anything from the sprue's. The instructions seem to show them raised though(?) Scott CNJC-IPMS
