  1. I LOOOOVVVVEEEE P-40's! The Pacific war is my favorite subject and I too love the white tail P-40's and P-39's!! Great job on an underestamated subject! -Nathan
  2. This is my dumb answer, navy jets probably sound different becaue they need to take off in those short distances(carriers). I'd guess they need the extra power, hence louder sound??? Bigger engine? But I am for the airforce "pilots" too, bacause they......"live alone"! "We live in fame or go down in flame, nothing will stop the U.S. Air Force!!!!!!!! :worship: :D -Nate
  3. Hey Steve-o! Is that you Mr P-40 guy?! This is very sad news . Where was this plane based out of? -Nathan
  4. Thanks guys for the compliments and the feedback. I am not very good at rigging. I just don't have a steady hand for it. I just use regular sowing thread. Most applications it works well for my needs. Maybe this will be my next thing to acheive! Still learning after a few years! -Nathan
  5. The pizza looks REEEEEAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL good!!!!
  6. Here is a bad shot of one of my models. It is of the old Hasegawa kit. I had won 3 SOC kits on Ebay for 5 bucks! The decals are from my spare parts box as the kits decals were so old that they just disintergrated! I think the Seagull is a cute plane. A rare biuld I believe. Enjoy, Nathan
  7. Thanks guys! Nice models! I really like the "F"'s :) . I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a decal set for P-40F's in the Pacific. I looooooove my P-40! -Nate
  8. Hi Paul, I see them and there all nice models. But I always see the same markings on most P-40's. Of all the P-40's made, probably 95% are in AVG markings. Its a little upsetting to me bacause the P-40 did much more then with the AVG. But oh well, atlest it is getting modelled! -Nate
  9. Would it be too much to ask to see some P-40 models? Just curious to see if anyone has any and what they look like. Thanks! Cheers, Mr. P-40
  10. Hi Paul, This kit biulds fairly easy. Not many fit problems. The only awkword thing I find is having to slide the wings through the slots in the fuselodge, then having to glue both halfs together. Make sure the fuselodge is EVEN before you do any glueing to the wings!! Again, I am still working on this puppy, and when finished it will make for an attractive display in my case! Thanks!! Cheers, Nathan
  11. Here is an old pic of an in progress biuld. These model have since been complete. I just couldn't get pictures of them now. Hope you like! -Nate
  12. Hi all, Here is a few pics of one of my unfinished projects. ITs a Monogram kit 1/48 and I am making it into a OS2U-2 Kingfisher that was based at Corpis Christy TX. The only thing really stopping me is some decals that I need to find. The one pic with the book has a pic of the airplane I am representing. It is the top right picture in the book. I always like doing different subjects and a Kingfisher with Blue gray/light gray body and yellow wings really caught my interest. Hopefully soon I can find some decals, white #103 to put on the sides! Enjoy! Thanks! -Nathan
  13. How do you know about Bradford county? Are you a local?
