    F-15I 1/72

Well, almost. F-15K has sprue D (Tiger Eye IRST pylon above the SNIPER pod, pilons, two vertical stabs with only the counterweights on top), while F-15E has sprue C (Lantirn pod, one tail with ECM pod on top, pilons). The dome is not a big problem, I could scratch build it or make a plane without it. Cheers, Marco

    F-15I 1/72

Hello all, I would like to model a 1/72 F-15I using the new Academy kit as a base. Which kit would be more appropriate, the F-15E or the F-15K? (I have both). I will use aftermarket exhaust nozzles and decals. Every info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Marco
  4. Hello all, I have just received my GWH Su-27B kit (it took 5 months for it to arrive from Hong Kong) and, unfortunately, I found out that the rear canopy part separated from the sprue in the box, developing a crack. From what I have read here on ARC it's not an easy task to get any replacement part from GWH. Did anybody have a recent positive experience? Thanks in advance for any input. Cheers, Marco
  5. Hello, there was a very comprehensive comparison on ARC: too bad that the images are non more visible, but maybe the text could help you all the same. Cheers.
  6. Hello all, since I am mainly an armor modeller, I would suggest reading this article, which could be useful: http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=220 HTH. Cheers, macco
  7. Hi, take a look: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=236282&st=0&p=2252646&hl=barak&fromsearch=1entry2252646 Isradecal book is probably the best reference on this particular version... Cheers
  8. You're welcome, to add another item to your list you could purchase 600 gal. tanks from Isradecal or use the ones in the SkunkModelWorks IDF weapons set n. 2.
  9. Hi Veliko_Pile, I have this set plus some other from Dr. Pepper and the casting quality is very good, no bubbles or parts warped etc.. Take a look at this, maybe it could be useful for making your choice: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=129803&st=0&p=1151160&hl=drpepper's&fromsearch=1entry1151160 Cheers

  11. Hi Shaun, I have two F-15E Revell kits, and in both the upper fuselages were so badly warped that I had to ask Revell to send me a replacement parts.
