Try www.ask.com and type in P-63. Whether that will show what you need I don't know, but some of the links are really cool! There's the history, lots of specifications, even a demo on youtube(in its own link). I hope this helps. I would have checked more but this rig is a tad s__l__o__w__! 8( Have fun and Happy Modeling!

Welcome, Memphis ! Glad to have you aboard...

Have you tried "ask.com?" I went there and asked for DH-114 Heron and got this: http://www.ask.com/wiki/De_Havilland_Heron I stopped there because with my dial-up connection further searching there would take "forever," but perhaps you'll do better. All I saw were pics but maybe just maybe...

Yep, got it OK. Ikar. My "copy and paste" has quit working; I m not ignoring you. Once I get it working again, I'll send along the aforementioned e-mail.
-
Ikar(and anyone else interested) if you request that I forward the info I received, you'll have to send me your complete e-mail address. I cannot reply to "on behalf of ARC." Even an IM(regular e-mail preferred) should have your e-mail address in it. Thanks for your attention to this.

Ikar, I asked a friend about this. He sent me a pretty complete rundown, which is too large for me to copy and past. If you send me an e-mail, I can forward it to you.

Welcome to the Forum, Noobie! :post1:/> Here you'll find many friends(especially for Mustangs)and a great deal of great info and much help with any projects.

Other than leaving it out in the sun for a long while, you might try mixing a small amount of pale grey into a little of the orange, just enough to make it look faded. Might take a few tries; be gentle by trying a little, and adding more if/as needed! After all, the rule in modeling is: "if it looks right, is IS right." ;)/>

Looks nice on a model aircraft, but I don't see any high polish, not to mention that a model aircraft is not a "tiny delicate piece." Thanks anyway. -
Convincing Silver Color for Brass and Other Surfaces

I do photetching for a living(see my "signature"), mostly parts for scale models and a little bit of decorative stuff. I have Been "at it" since 1971. Other items include, but are not limited to, name plates, military insignia for figures, or "whatever else gets dreamed up." Lotta model train stuff. A search for Fotocut would turn up more information. As far as application, this is not for me - it's for a customer to use on miniature silverware for doll house use. I have been making both brass and silver-colored sets for that trade since about 1982. I need a substitute for the silver-colored -
Does anyone here have or know of a paint or other simple finish for various surfaces? It would help greatly if it could also be buffed. T I A

For construction, I'd use a soldering tool(small!) after making some kind of fixture(if not in the kit) to locate the parts while assembling. My 2c worth.
