  1. That is a great price Chuck. The D's are hard to come by these days...so at $90 dollars grab it up. If not let me know and I'll snag it. Happy Modeling, Joe
  2. My latest update, well I’m starting to see the finish line. A few little odds and ends left to do and then finish painting. What paint you see will make it easier to get at before the sub sections are glued on. This photo is just a dry mock up I’m hoping to have this finished by the weekend. Happy Modeling, Joe
  3. That does look cool Emil, will put that one in the vault. That would be a nice project for the 72, 48 and 32nd guys. Thanks! Happy Modeling, Joe

  7. Here’s another project I’m working on for the upcoming AMPS show in Atlanta this April. This is made from evergreen plastic and is in 1/35th. It’s a SEE (Small Emplacement Excavator). For reference I did an extensive internet search for pics and data. Before I began I needed to know the tires size. I found that they were 12.5 R20 LPR on 11.00-20 rims. Looking over my modern kits I found the M1078 had the same size tires, but the pattern was of somewhat, something I could live with. This is a small vehicle with a ground clearance of 17in. and a wheel base of 96in. The SEE is based on th
  8. Thanks guys! As to the two jars Mike, they are paints. They are the two different browns you see. I mixed Tamiyas NATO Brown with Flesh to get the two colors. More pics coming soon! Joe
  9. Looks great, the barb wire is a nice touch. Just a side note which I'm sure you may know, the Strykers in Iraq would have slat armor added on. Back in the US the slat armor would be removed. So you could model the Stryker in Pennsylvania, Alaska or in Korea. The gear can be painted in ACU digital or in 3 tone NATO. Looking forward to your next progress posting. Happy Modeling, Joe
  10. Abrams Thanks man! Here is my photo album that has two pics plus some in progress pics. If you want more of the real tank let me know. Happy Modeling, Joe
  11. Here is something I've been working on, Burnt Abrams for my HET truck and trailer. I still need to add in burnt and melted gear followed by some weathering. I also plan on grounding down the track pads so that they look as the rubber burned off. As for my reference I found 11 photos that I went by. I was being loaded onto the trailer by two cranes. I mixed up Tamiyas paints and used rubber cement to block in paints. The blast panels and some of the side skirts will be chained on top of the hull later on. Happy Modeling, Joe
  12. I need an AIM or SEP Abrams kit to add onto my HET Trailer, the Abrams will be burnt, destroyed and chained down. I have other Abrams kits but they molded on road wheel arms, I’d like to squat it onto the trailer…if you can help please PM me. I might be able to trade some things if interested. Happy Modeling, Joe
  13. No, no longer can you park along the roads to watch the aircraft come and go...it's shame too. Do a google map (overhead) search to find the roads around the airport to park in a parking lot or something to see what you can watch. Happy Modeling, Joe
