Hi all, I should have taken advise from Tony instead of going ahead with the tanks pylons. The picture of the Canada Aerobatic Team shows the pylons are at much more toward the center line than the kit's location. The red line is where the kit has you installed the pylons. But yet in some other Mk 6 photos, the pylons are not so as far inward. Are there different positions where the tanks are to be attached? The second photo I believe is the MK 6 with more outward position than the first. The third also shows more outward positions of the pylons. Dai

Hello all, Not happy with the top fuselage air vent so I refined the outline (the kit's is not accurate) for better accuracy. The sloped ramp was glued via CA from outside with the correct angulation then sanded smooth. The corners of the top fuselage toward the nose is rounded as opposed to the ones on the sides of the fuselage. This rounded feature was created by a tiny dab of thick CA into the corners. Now I do not have to deal with the ugly seam that tend to plaque many of the online builds. Dai

Hi all, I emailed them many times requesting PP invoice to no avail. So looks like out of bussiness. Too bad someone did not pick up their decal line as they seem to be in high quality. Luckily I was able order 2 remaining F-86 sheets from LF Models in CZ. Dai

Hi all, Some more from the link provide some insights into the MK 6. The MK 6 has much difference in fuselage panel lines. One interesting thing is on the German plane, the demarcation between the green and the grey is soft. But yet between this and the underside blue is hard. I wonder if this is due to restoration at the museum paint shop? If so during its operational life, that will make my painting much easier. Dai
