  1. Great work! Love the look of this tank.
  2. in 1/72, i tend to use a paper mask, held in place over the kit by poster putty. Make sure you spray at a 90 degree angle and the end result is a light fade.
  3. Three Robin Hobbs books. Al Murray’s Black Tuesday and an Ebay GC. That GC was turned into 2 Sabot books (Dutch PRTL/Cheeta and Dutch Leopard II), Tankcraft’s Canadian, ZA, and NZ Shermans in Italy, and Oprey’s Royal Dutch Navy in the 2nd WW. So i can’t complain.
  4. the 123rd FS F-4C ORANG in the Hill Gray is on my bucket list, will there be a part two in the future?
  5. received my copy of the 1/72 F-111F sheet (and an extra copy for a friend) yesterday. The sheet looks great!
  6. very happy to see this. And glad started building my 3 Hasy Zippers earlier this year.
  7. There are two corner stones to Metal, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin imho. I got to see BS on their last tour. Ozzy was very limited physically but still sounded great. RIP Ozzy.
  8. i just purchased it for the decals, pylons, and to support ICM. i’ll use the parts i’ll need on a Revell MLU kit.
  9. new or used, barter, sold, or free. Paint on it? Not a problem.
  10. I have a 1/72 Hasegawa K-25 boxing that is about ready for paint. However, the front canopy still shows the sprue gate no matter how much i sand and buff it. So if anyone has a spare or one off of an old kit that they are getting rid of, i'll gladly take it/trade it/pay for it.
  11. i love the F-16, and i just cut them off and i do not miss them when i am done.
  12. i had it happen with the 36251 and 36375 when thinned a bit with X-20A and with the 36375 when thinned a bit with water. They mixed easily and went on great. Nothing happened that would lead me to think that the paint was bad or old. I'll tweak my technique with the suggestions and try again. I've used MM acrylics in the past and currently use almost all Gunze.
  13. So i bought some AKAN paints, as MM discontinued 36251 for the Mod Eagle scheme. I have used it twice now. Once thinning a little with Tamiya's X-20A and the second time thinning a little with water. Both times it sprayed on great and covered well. However, both time the paint has stayed a bit tacky. It is as if it is not dry, but when it is weeks after i sprayed it, it should be. Any ideas and tips to try? Thanks
