  1. Hey all, I'm working on the Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk.I and I accidentally lost the headrest piece (part G9). If you happen to have the kit and perhaps you stopped working on it and won't continue to build it, I'd really appreciate your help obtaining this part. In fact, I'd be more than willing to purchase the entire G sprue tree if that makes it a better deal for you. Below is a pic of the part in question just in case. Thanks very much! Rob
  2. Excellent info barkin! The color info makes sense. I think I'll follow your advice here and use grey-green with a touch of a lighter paint and call it a day. Very much appreciated! Rob
  3. Attachments are unavailable. Where else can I find this info? Edit: Found it. Thanks!
  4. I apologize if topic has been discussed but I'm having a hard time finding info on the actual differences between what they called the "early" two-blade prop Mk.I and the "later" variants of the same mark. Apart from the two-blade propeller (obvious difference), the flat canopy, the simple gun sight, and the right-mounted pump for the landing gears, are there any other internal or external differences between "early" and "later" Mk.Is? What about interior paint? I read somewhere that there's a disagreement in terms of the interior color between those early and later machines. I
  5. As per the title, I’m looking for the Revell 1/144 Airbus A319. Please PM me and let me know if you have one you’re interested in selling. I’m in the U.S. Thank you for looking! Rob
  6. Thank you very much, all! You all confirmed I'm on the right path.
  7. Hi all, I know the topic of CDL is most often hard to come to an agreement on but what would "potentially" be the CDL color on Fokker Dr.1s? I'm aware of the many variables that could make me go in any direction here but if someone has an educated guess specifically regard the Dr.1s I'd love to read about it. Thank you!
  8. oh..didn’t know that the first coat was black. Kinda makes sense now as I’ve Sean a black border surrounding the white. Thanks for the info and tip.
  9. Mmm...I do have some Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 white I could try. Don't think it'll be thick enough though. Worth a try...
  10. Liquid paper is the first thing I thought about for this but, like you said, the brushed on look was the first thing that pop in my head. I'd like to see if "white-out" could the thinned and sprayed out of an airbrush but I'm sure cleaning the a/b will present a whole different challenge. I'm trying depict a boneyard F-14A
  11. Thanks for the feedback. Interesting thought about Maskol and the such. Definitely worth considering.
  12. Hello all... What would you use to mimic the Spraylat coating found on boneyard birds? I don't think that just painting the areas white would provide the thicker plastic film Spraylat seems to produce. Any ideas? Thanks!
  13. Hi Brian, I tried sending you a PM but it told me you could not receive messages. Anyway, I took care of my inbox so please pm me again if you don’t mind. Thank you very much! Rob
  14. Hello. Most likely a long shot but I'm looking for this set. Please let me know if you have one and are willing to part with it. I'm in the U.S. Thank you!
  15. Hello all... I'm looking for the following decal sheet if anyone has one and is wiling to part with it. I'm located in the U.S. Thanks!
  16. Thanks for the feedback, Loach. Can you tell me if I can build the U.S. Army AH-64E using either the Korea AH-64E or the Taiwan AH-64E boxings? I'm aware of the difference in exhausts on the U.S. Army version but not sure about other parts. Rob
  17. Apart from the angle exhaust (sugar scoop) found on the Hasegawa U.S. Army AH-64E boxing, can I still build a U.S. Army version of the AH-64E using any of the other two Hasegawa kits out there (Korea, Taiwan)? I guess what I'm asking is, are the other parts in those boxings the same as the U.S. Army one with the exception of those angled exhausts? Thanks!
  18. Hello all. As per the title, I'm looking got the following kit. Please let me know if you'd be willing to part with it. i'm on the U.S. Thank you!
  19. Thanks. I'm really looking for any B-specific boxing. Not quite certain the Hasegawa Ds come with the fairings and such specific to the Bs. If your does, then I'm game. Rob
  20. If you have any boxing of the Hasegawa F-14B Tomcat I’ll be happy to trade.
