Whut,z up, ARCer,s! I just got finished attaching the forward fuselage to my bone yesterday and it went together without a hitch. Of course i,m going to have to do some sanding but i don,t think it,ll be any more than any other project that i,ve done. She,s looking good so far. And she is BIG as hell. oh yeah, i did,nt add any inserts to the landing gear and its rock solid sturdy. i had a gap after i joined the fuselage but the epoxy glue filled it o.k.

Yo animal, I wish you all the luck in the world on the new job. I,m saying this b,coz I want you to start on that bone as soon as possible. You know how we model builders are. :huh:

mark, you are so right on that one but i,ve been licking my chops watching your build progress. i don,t know if i want to display the radar open or closed, though. i did manage to cut out the rear ejection hatches, so i know what i want to do with that part of the build but not the nose part.

Thanks alot but I still have a ways to go. Hey, I may be the only guy out here who paints his model as he goes as opposed to doing it when the construction is finished.

I should be doing it any day now,you know how we like to procrastinate on certain building stages. the markings are of the kansas ang with the shark mouths on the intakes. i did use the meteor burner cans, though. they set the model off if you paint and detail them right. the bays have a combo of shawn hull,s wcmds and jdams, along with the hasegawa jdams also. i,m also thinking of placing some lgb,s on the other side externally opposite of the jsows b,coz i also saw a pic of a bone dropping one. what do you guys think i should do? Uh....no. I know it has some sort of nomencleture but cannot remember what it is. Chappie b-1b killer whale scheme; i got the idea from the b-1 book by don logan

I would like to add that the rear fuselage join was not that bad to do. I however, did catch hell with the eduard p.e. vortex generators on the tail, though. no problems with shawn hull,s ale- 50,s. the landing gear seems to be rock steady so far, considering all the resin bombs i have inside it. i still wish i had the verlinden super detail set i bought for it some years back b,coz it had the avionics bays and some other things i could use right about now on it. i have,nt joined the forward fuselage yet but when i do i,m going to do it with epoxy b, coz of all the weight that i have in the n

redheadkevin, it,s hard to stay ahead of you b,coz ya keep on gettin" em right but......................i do know about the ext. hardpoints also. i,m just trying to do something a little different is all. about the lantirn pod, i saw an article on the b-1b site that shows and talks about them adding one on a aircraft so i just had to jump on that one first. i was scratchbuilding a sniper pod to put on it but i,m getting eager to finish this big rascal so i stopped on the sniper pod. ;)

hey redheadkevin, you are right on point with that one....but i was hoping that someone would really say "b-1b killer whale" scheme. i,ve got the jdams and wcmd,s in the bays. now i,ve got to get around to putting the jsows on the external hardpoints along with some agm-130,s and a lantirn pod. ;)

Chappie, that,s one of the names for it . Now can you tell me the other name for it............. :lol:
