  3. I know I'm jumping on an old thread, but seeing as I have a personal interest in this, here's my reply. Standard Load out for an O2-A on a FAC mission would be: 14 WP 2.75 " rockets. As many as 28 could be carried in 4 7 round launchers. Every once in a while some HE were snuck in but this was frowned upon by the REMF's. The gun pods were removed ( what were they thinking giving frustrated fighter jocks machine guns anyway?) Due to the losses, and keeping the pilots "on mission" Flares were carried by the Night FACs, some known by the Sleepytime callsign. The O2-B saw action first as they

  6. I've been away for awhile, I have been doing some event to Support the Troops. Here we are doing a fly-over, and breaking into the missing man at a rally near Akron Ohio to help raise money for the Wounded Warriors Organization. Thank You to all those serving or who have served!

  11. 1 week with comercial grade penetrating oil on the beast and no joy. I think that the internals ar so corroded they need disassembled and cleaned to even think about moving. Thanks for all the input!
  12. We disconnected the actuator, and removed all the plexi. the locks, 4 that I can see seem to be frozen. Looks like Im drilling the rails rivets out to free them up.
