Euro Scale Modelling , Nieuwegein (NL) , Oct 31
meindert replied to meindert's topic in General Discussion
Euro Scale Modelling was last Saturday October 31, at Nieuwegein, The Netherlands. A great show and many modellers (also from other countries) had big smiles on their faces! An extensive report (including 2 YouTube videos) can be seen on the IPMS NL website: My link It gives an idea of this splendid ESM event. And... coming weekend 7th and 8th November the big IPMS UK "Scale Model World" event at Telford! :rolleyes:/> I wish all SMW visitors a great show(unfortunately can't be there this year coming from Amsterdam). Best regards, Meindert -

Oops... just completed the 1/72 kit as NASA 55120 but without USAF on the wing. I assume it is in the position as indicated on the kit instructions? Can add the decal easily..

Check out the review on the Dutch IPMS site at: http://www.ipms.nl/artikelen/recensies/vliegtuigen-militair/832-revell-lynx-32-engels.html Currently I am converting this kit to a Dutch Lynx SH-14D, look at my webpages here: http://designer.home.xs4all.nl/models/lynx-32/lynx-1.htm This conversion uses the "folded" tailboom option but also a new nose.

September 29, got notified that my Skyraider package is underway from Japan to The Netherlands. It is now at the foreign post dispatch office in Osaka. Anxious on receiving it! Meindert

On the Dutch IPMS site walk around pictures can be seen on the F-84G, many details are similar to the F-84E. Useful for the bigger scale modellers. Look here http://ipmsnl.netfirms.com/walkarounds/CH-F84G/F84G-CH.html

Extra dark sea grey with white lower surfaces is correct for the Sea Vixen. Check out my 1/72 build here.... At that time I did not use Gunze Sanyo paint, but during the last 12 months I try to use this brand whenever I can as it is very good indeed with an air brush, using the acryllic paint.

I made both kits, check out suggestions and tips at my webpages: http://designer.home.xs4all.nl/models/F15-32/f15-32.htm regards, Meindert

An overview of what conversion can be done with the 1/32 Tamiya model of the F-16C Block 32 "Thunderbird" to get an early block F-16A can be seen on this page: Visit My Website

The Academy 1/32 F-16 SUFA had some spare parts for an older style F-16 two seater without humpback. I used the kit to make a F-16B conversion, look here how: http://www.xs4all.nl/~designer/models/F16-32/f16-32-b1.htm
