  1. Hello Raymond, You have there a Mirage 2000B with MICA missiles (only seen on 2000-5, -5Mk2 and -9) The D, -5, -5 Mk2 and -9 Mirage 2000's have no pitot tube on the radome. Moreover, the -D model has chaff/flare launchers on the spine. HTH, S.
  2. Hi, EC 1/5 Vendée is to be disbanded on June 29th. Drink ! FJ
  3. Hi Ian, Bring on the 1:24 Frightning, please! And I just might fall for the TSR-2...
  4. Hi, IRIS-T is a missile, IRST is an infrared sensor and tracker. Dagger and Raptor Supporter are talking about the sensor. FJ
  5. Hi, CA has announced the PR9 already. A B(I)8 would be quite interesting... Drink! FJ
  6. Hi, You'll need an aftermarket cockpit (CE, Neomega, Aires). The nozzle is poor, but one can live with it. Straight OotB, the underwing pylons won't fit to the wing, as they're made for a straight wing. Fitting them is quite entertaining. You'll need to make the landing light housings under the fuselage as they're just panel lines on the kit. Check the wing to fuselage fit. I removed the tabs from the wings on mine, and still had to use plenty of putty. Here's my build : http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/mod/privatsu22.htm I used everything CE released, and made a big mistake : the thi

  8. Er no, I meant 11 (3 under each wing makes 6 total, plus 5 under the fuselage). Well, wikipedia adds the same number and gets 9 so... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-17
  9. Hi, The big pod that goes on the centerline is a recce pod. The strange looking pod is an ECM pod, and it goes under a wing. When carried, there's a rocket pod on the opposite pylon for balance. IIRC, there are 3 pylons under each wing and 5 under the fuselage. HTH, Father Jack.
  10. I'm quite an average modeler, so anybody can do that (and probably better than that). But when I decide I'm going to build something, I share some character traits with Granny Weatherwax (I can impose my will to an adult anvil). My job was quite sloppy (I should have been more cautious when puttying) and I'm gonna have to pay (the rescribing will be quite interesting. I hate rescribing). But thanks! Drink! Father Jack
  11. Check there : http://su22m4.free.fr/su22um3k I have to find the energy to re-scribe the panel lines that went AWOL and go on with the build. I don't like the seats in the CIRO kit, I'll use CE seats instead. Cheers, FJ
  12. Er, I'm fighting the CIRO conversion right now, and it's extremely entertaining... Fun fun fun. But I'm more stubborn than resin and plastic. DRINK! FJ
  13. For the Su 22, that's right. Su 22 is the export version of the Fitter. The kit is in fact a Su 17 M3, which has the same engine as the M4 (and all M4s, export or not, have the same engine). Cheers, FJ
  14. Hi, Wings released quite a nice vac of the Forger. You'll have to find a way to detail the cockpit and the vertical jet intakes, though. The black circled parts on the first pic are the K36 seat... Cheers, FJ
