  8. I agree on the 1/48 Hasegawa F4U-5N as a great kit. I built mine with no problems, the only thing I did replace was the cockpit. I used Wolfpacks resin, the detail and quality is way better then the kit one. The seam on the cowling was sanded off. Here is a pic of it. Rob

  11. Hi Joey. you can go about this a couple of ways, paint the entire fusalage your lighter color first then hit it with your darker color next. The next way is paint your first color then mask off that color than spray your next, but the first way would be eaiser,as for cutting the mask cut it before hand you don't want to take a chance cutting it on the model. The hobby knife will leave behind gauges if you are to hard on the plastic, and one good slip with the knife and you have a big mess with your plane. I hope this helped you, Rob.

  19. I'm only one year behind you and I know exactly what you mean. I did these 1973 White box 1/48 Monogram classics, no aftermarket no sanding, or putty straight out op the box, very relaxing.
  20. Thank you to all who have served. I would like to send a happy Memorial Day to my Father even though we don't speak to each other, Thank You for your service in the United States Marines and your service in Vietnam in 1968, the year I was born. And to all who gave their all and never returned home. R.I.P. Rob
