Im very happy to see this thread, as I'm planning on making the same move myself. Having experience only with Humbrol enamels - 1) Why is one brand better than the other? (i.e you uys say MM is no good - why?) 2) When you say "airbrush beautifully" - what do you mean? is there a difference in the final result between one paint brand and another? Thanks...

No, no, no - No frown what so ever. What I meant was that regardless of what you used, it looks fantastic! I think PE does have it's limitations, but they aren't showed on your cockpit. At least not from where I'm sitting :D Keep up the great work, and bring more photos!

What does micro-flat do? (or at least what is it supposed to do?)

Decals are on - I have to mention that the kit's decals are low quality... some of them just won't conform (like that arrow you're seeing... I eventually took it off).

That's just incredible detail & painting! I wish I'll be able to do it some day... :lol:
