anyone want to take bets on when (if ever) we get out stuff? Before Christmas?

1/48 scale models, I've got 9 to stuff in there, should be room to fit in a couple more. .. Now what to build ...

no, the back was wood covered with some cheap wall-paper like patterned stuff (can't think of the actual name of the stuff). I ripped off the patterned material which still left another layer of paper over the wood. I painted that. Yes those are home-made stands.

not exactly a kit in progress, but I'm currently working on my display case. I got this delivered today and I've painted it with grey primer. I'm probably going to give paint it a dark brown to match other furniture around my place. It has 2 glass shelves which I've removed until I'm done painting. Probably finish in a ocuple days.

I think this whole thing has gone beyond what is acceptable. The deal begain in early February, and it doesn't look like we are getting our merchandise anytime soon. Eventhough Fuji may be busy and be having personal issues, some realistic contact with us would have been very appreciated. Having accepted our money and not keeping us informed about the status of the shipping is very frustrating. If you (Fuji) are unable to ship the merchandise on a timely manner, then I think we deserve a refund. A 2+ month wait seems unacceptable. This was my first time buying from someone on this forum

thanks for the tips ... wish I'd known about the LAU-128 thing before I gave them away :) Since I don't have them anymore, would the LAU-128 still have a snug fit with the top of the maverick? ... they're Hasegawa Maverick's and triple launcher, not from the Monogram A-10. Time to do some cutting on them.

Here's my attempt at building a LAU-117 ... it's not completely done yet as I haven't finished painting it. Any suggestions?

... the panel lines in the kit are at times deep and pretty wide, so giving the kit a wash is no problem. but the majority of the weathering is done with pastel chalk. The stains on the engines are paointed on.

Murph, yeah I noticed that ... most the pictures I've seen of Jaguar's have the Barax pod under the left wing. ... it's just that the Carpena instructions have left me wondering. Eddy .. yes I have seen those pictures. Here's the only other picture I've seen showing A123. The book says it was just before hostilities and that is definitely a Phimat pod under the right wing. Can the phimat pod even be carried under the left wing?

1. ... what Murph said 2. The only thing that really baffled me was the pod to use. This is what the Carpena instructions say: "Typical armament for a Gulf mission is ventral tank, two SAMP 25 bombs in pair under both wings, one Magic 2 missile under right wing and a BAREM ECM pod under left". I have a picture of A123 that shows the bombs and the Magic as described; also another with a Phimat in place of the Magic. I have the Concord book Operation Daguet and all pictures I've seen of the left side show a Barax or Remora pod under the left wing. The book doesn't mention anything about

It's the Heller 1/48 Jaguar A kit with Operation Daguet markings. It's pretty much out-of-the-box except for the pilot and the nose probe which I long ago lost before I finished the model. The decals are from Carpena.

... not asking for a critique, I'm sure there's plenty of things to nit-pick, just thought I would show a pick of my kit, -Jaguar A of Operation Daquet, ... one thing that annoyed me was that I didnd find a reference picture of the actual jet until I was done painting and decaling the kit. ... oh well.

looks damn awesome!!! ... makes me really want to build in 1/32 if it weren't for the space limitations of my apartment ..

.. the whole DRA is basically built from 3 Sidewinder rails from the Has. F-16 kits, with some bit of slicing and dicing ... and using sheet styrene and putty. you'll understand by seeing the pic below ..

my newly built and painted missile rail adapter ... I'm not satisfied with how it came out, but being it's basically my first attempt to build one, it will have to do for now.

what is the OC? .. I haven't been following tv these days, ever since reality Tv started, I tuned out.

.... nice looking A-10!! do you have any pics of 224 you can share with us here? I had video of 224 during Desert Storm from some Discovery Channel show, but I accidently taped over it ... so much for that as a reference.
