CAM did decals of this squadron? ... you mean I didn't have to wait until SuperScale did the 74th TFS again? -DRA ... not sure if that is the proper acronym, but I meant the Dual Missile Rail Adapter thing for the AIM-9's -the stand is just a white painted wire cloths hanger bent and cut to whatever shape I needed (essentially a U on it's side). The model just sits on top; there is a concern about safety regarding the balancing act .. but I'm planning on taking home a big glass cabinet from work where my models will be safe. ... only then can I get a cat -having the gear up is

... pardon my bad photography, I just bought an Fuji FinPix E510 this afternoon and I haven't read the user manual ... this is model was one of my first attempts at using an airbrush, painted it a couple years ago. When Superscale recently released decals for the 74th TFS in Desert Storm, I decided to fix up some things with the model. Some things I still want to do: - change the pilot and repaint the ACES II seat - build a new DRA .. my older one was horrible - repaint the fan blades of the endgines.

Great story, just wondering, who was the squadron commander of the 75th TFS? Which squadron did Lt. Col. Paul Johnson command? (or still does for all that I know).

I'm building the Revell F-15E and noticed some parts that I didn't know what they are for. According to the walkaround on this site, they are LS scoops (whatever "LS" is I don't know) on the conformal fuel tank. How am I to know whether they belong on the jet or not? Maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see them in the instructions.

Here's the situation, I painted an A-10 in the Euro scheme using Testor's Model Master enamels. Gave it a gloss cote, added the decals, and then used a lacquer dull cuote. Can I remove the decals without hurting the enamel paint?

here's what happened ... I covered my 1/48 F-111F canopy in Future and let it dry. I'm sure it was completely dried because it was a couple of weeks before I used Maskol. Anyway, I used the mask on the canopy clear areas. I had let the Maskol sit for a day before doing what I had to. When I removed it, the clear are was about 50% fogged up. Any idea how this happened? something I'm doing wrong? How do you guys mask your canopies?

What's the best way to scribe panel lines? I just started doing a wing on a F-15 and it's a #$@# pain Is there a specific tool that gives you nice clean panel lines? BTW, does anyone have a good drawing showing the panel lines on the F-15C?

I lost the HUD for my 1/48th F-111F ... can anyone recommend the easiest way to get /build a replacement?

is there an easy way of removing super glue?

I know there is dull cote and gloss cote, but is there a semi-gloss? Just wondering about how I would get decals to adhere well and get a semi-gloss look.
