Hey folks, The Tornado is not dead, just not had much of a chance to get near it with a mix of work and trying to get some outside work done at the house. Got the new Aires wheel bays today from Hannants ( they're for the Hobbyboss kit but the fit good enough,) along with Paragon Flaps/Slats. The wings were cut tonight ready for the flaps, cockpit tub just has a few switches to add, front panel to finish, and the new wheel bays were given a first coat of paint. Hopefully get some pics up soon, camera is charging up Jason

Hi folks, recently been shopping for my 48th Bone, got the Eduard exhausts and etch, Twobobs decals, and hve just bought the Scale Aircraft Conversions whitemetal U/C legs. Still got the Royale Resin wheels and some Shawn Hull stuff to get (hopefully shouldnt take too long to reach Scotland) Has anyone used the undercarriage set, and if so is there anything I should look out for? I'll be starting her once the Tornado is off the bench
-
Does anyone out there know if Equipage wheels are in production again, I'm sure I came across talk of it in a thread the other night? Jason
-
Na I think it'd be a bit tricky in 72nd scale. I have a resin cockpit for my 72nd Su32, and whoever done the master for it must have a good eye and a steady hand as the switches are tiny
-
Finally got a chance to get some more work done on the cockpit tub, added more swithces and snapped two 0.35mm drills in the process, progress as of tonight
-
Thanks mate, yeah I've discovered that with the scriber. I also honed it with a fine honing stone after taking the above pics to give a finer line
-
Cheers Mark, hopefully some more upates this weekend
-
Yeah it can get very frustrating, especially when the scriber decides to take its own path away from the straight edge
-
Progress has been slow this week, loads on at work, scribed on the cockpit panels, drilled the larger holes for the larger switches, and got the rear instrument panel almost finished so I'll start the front one hopefully this weekend, along with drilling the smaller holes for this wire for the small toggle switches
-
Tonights progress was limited to the throttles and rear instrument panel due to work, front panel was started using the Ed set ( still have th details at the top to add) but I may rebuild it from scratch.
-
Starting to scribe on the panel lines Main gear bays removed Start of cockpit detailing. I had intended just using the etch, but I'll add some relief to the side panels using sprue and wire for switches etc
-
Been working on the instrument panels this morning, and have removed the moulded in main wheel bays. Once I get this pic posting mastered I'll get some on. Does anyone know if the method for photobucket will work with flickr, as I already have an account there Jason

Thanks Fred, I'll second your comment regarding help and advice, I've had many a question answered on here, I'll update as and when I can as I'm quite busy at work at the min. I have the F3, a GR4 and a couple of IDS' to do

Thanks Mark, I'll hopefully get the first pics up either tomorrow afternoon after work or Sunday.
