Hello Martin, The canopy sealant adds reality to the kit . What did you use: paint or what? Very sharp work. Congratulations, Flores

Hello, I own a Tamiya Spray-Work HG Airbrush (#74503). My question is: by just replacing the propper parts (needle, nozzle,.. +?) can it spray like the Tamiya High Grade Double Action SUPERFINE Airbrush (#74514)? Does anyone ever tried this? Any advice is welcome. Cheers, Flores

Marek, Congratulations. A very nice build. I'm not familiar with the Vietnam painting scheme. Is it a 2, or a 3 color scheme on the upper surfaces? 2 shades of green, or there is a dark grey also? Keep on with the good work. Cheers, Flores

I had a bad experience with WD-40, when painting with acryllics. Even small traces of it will ruin a paint job. It is a good lube for ABs, but you need to remove it completely before a paint session. To remove it, I blow a full cup of water with a liquid detergent. HTH Flores

Hello to all of you folks above, that responded to my message: Sorry for the delay in responding to you all. Either I did not check to receive e-mail notifications or something went wrong with my mailer. The fact is that I was not informed about your msgs. All of the responses were very helpful. I will use the Polished Aluminium MetalCote (Revell-like jars) to simulate wear of the painting: as a base color in specific small areas of the kit, that will be painted over with the aircraft colors and then scratched a bit to show the wearing (Aluminium). Thanks a lot for the help. Flores

Hi Folks, Never used Humbrol MetalCotes before. Are they airbrush ready, or do they need thinning? Help is welcome. Cheers, Flores
