  4. Kursad, Any chance of doing a 1/48 USAF F-111F sheet covering the all gray camo scheme of the 523FS 'Crusaders' 27th Fighter Wing - Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico or similar? I have the 1/48 Hobby Boss F-111E/F kit that i would like to do in that scheme. I know that Cutting Edge did a sheet way back when and are hard to find. I would appreciate it if you would kindly consider it. Thanks, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA

  7. I would think it would be the one in the link and not the You Tube video. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA The
  8. I just completed a deal with Maxwell Wee. We started off communicating via PM but since neither of us would check here for our messages we then decided to communicate via email and this worked out even better. Transaction went smooth as glass! I would not hesitate to buy again from Max. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  9. I just completed a deal with Max and he was excellent letting me know the status of my purchase. Once we decided to communicate via email, there was no problem with communications the deal went smooth as glass. I have no problems with buying another kit from him. 10. That is great news Kursad, I was able to pick up a Hasegawa P-3C last weekend at a model show. Steve sl;iger Greenwell Springs, LA
  11. Good deal! I saw your Hercules, but briefly as I left my table with my wife.
  12. Hey it was great to meet you and place a face with a user name on ARC. You guys definitely know how to put on a show! Thank all the club guys for doing an excellent job! Hope to see you at the Nats in July. Sorry I did see you today during the show. I hope you did well at the show. This is the first time in 20 years that I almost sold out completely at a show. 13. Sure will, I will be a vendor there so come by and buy my table out so my wife will be happy to spend the cash! Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  14. From the website I saw where I discovered it was actually in Jasper and not Gadsden, the aircraft had been painted but not in the color scheme of its service in Desert Storm but it looks like in an over all dark gray. It’s a shame if this is still true. I first saw it 25 something years ago it was in the orginal scheme it wore in Desert Storm. It was getting dark outside when I saw it last year so I could not see the color scheme it was in. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  15. My first was Boscos Hobby Shop in the Shreve City shopping center in Shreveport right directly across the Red River from the the main gate to Barksdale AFB in Bossier City (Louisiana). It lasted long enough for me to take my son there when he was 3-4 years old. It was like walking into hobby heaven. But now it has been gone for about 35 years or so. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  16. That is the website I found to located it. But it looks like the paint scheme is all dark gray. What a shame, it is not even an accurate representation of how the real aircraft appeared in Desert Storm. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  17. GPS Coordinates, good the next time I ferry an aircraft to Cullman. AL, I will swing by and see it from the air. Thanks, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  18. Found it, it is an RF-4C in Jasper, AL Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  19. Does anybody know where the Gulf War Era F-4 Phantom from the Alabama Air Guard is on display at. I seem to remember driving thru Gadsden AL and it was on the side of the road. The story I read I think said that the pilot of that aircraft got the Air Force to put it on display in his home town. I first saw it back in the early 2000's and I believe at that time it was in the median of a divided highway. Last year we drove by it and I recall that they moved it to the side of the road. I believe it was an RF-4C in the later 2 gray color camo scheme. Anybody know of this aircraft and
  20. I had found an article from Lockheed Martin website a few years ago announcing the Z13 Overcoat which if you are familiar with it is a one color overall uniform coat. It is an option in the new Tamiya 1/48 F-35A kit. Modelers are still trying to figure out the actual color(s) to use. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  21. That just added to the reason to also keep it restricted. Last spring or summer they had a "one day open to all" day and it quickly reached max capacity to the point the Security was not allowing people in to the base. I have read on other forums that the Navy should move it off the Base but like everything else, it cost money. Maybe one day it will be open to the general public but I am not holding my breath. 22. Just Like Rusty_M said, Deal with Confidence. My kits arrived as described, shipped promptly, excellent communication, and well packaged. Highly Recommended, Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  23. Coming late to the party, what all you guys posted plus: 1/32 RAH-66 Comanche (yes, I know it was not put into production but it is a cool helicopter) These only because I have flown them 1/48 or 1/32 Bo105CB-4 / CBS 1/48 or 1/32 Bell 206L-4 1/48 or 1/32 BK117 1/48 or 1/32 OH-58C with both standard & flat windshields & vertical IR exhaust 1/48 or 1/32 Augusta 109CMax Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
  24. https://www.thisdayinaviation.com/tag/lockheed-u-2c/ This link shows the aircraft but without the Article 360 on the vertical tail fin. I guess only those who were there really knows for sure how it was marked. Steve Sliger Greenwell Springs, LA
