  1. I'm missing the pilot's instrument panel for my Monogram 48scale F101B. Can anyone help?? Thanks Alex
  2. Only three airframes. If anything were to happen it might be an authorized rebox of a Revell A380 with Hasegawa decals. Kinda like their Hasegawa JAL 747-400 in 1/144th scale from twenty years ago. Still your chances of winning powerball or being abducted by aliens are higher than a 1/200 scale Hasegawa A380.
  3. Maybe the trainers over at EK should reference this given their recent event on this approach.
  4. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ This. But, pretty much every single airport sucks, no matter where it is.
  5. Interviewing at EK. Buyer beware. At my current gig, I've had a few ex-EK skippers as students who are glad to be gone. My buds that are still there are desperate to leave as well. One is even contemplating at leaving without anything to go to. They keep telling me the best thing I did was to turn down EK 11 years ago. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.
  6. Sweet build. Bringin' back the memories. Nice! I gotta finish mine.
  7. From the looks of the picture, the Solvaset is too strong for that decal. Sometimes decal solutions need to be used sparingly. I hate to critique, but you would have been fine with just the Micro Set. I use Solvaset as a last resort on a tough decal that won't conform around tight areas. That's a bummer. You may have to start that one over :(/>
  8. Try not using any of the solutions. If you do, use Micro Set sparingly. At times I've use a small drop on my finger and gently smeared it to prevent wrinkling. Good luck Alex Edit: another thing; make sure you have a very effective gloss finish before applying the decals. If there is the slightest imperfection, they will lift.
  9. Caution! Graphic. MD-11 in picture! Enjoy. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/feb/15/cargo-jet-impounded-zimbabwe-body-south-african-rand#img-1
  10. Rogue One I hope that doesn't fail like these have. EOM
  11. I've done both as well. I came from a 121 legacy and then to a 135 back to 121. The type of flying a professional pilot may enjoy or dislike depends on their individual personality. An individual might think he's cut out to make it in the 121 world, but realizes he/she is not. Or like myself; where I took an off-the-street captain job on a Hawker in a time of need and learned that I really hated life brought on by on demand charter flying. I found that I couldn't handle the lack of organizational structure within the company I flew for and their lack of scheduling discipline. Other factors tha
  12. Jennings, How often are you recharging the tank? When you do. Do you swap the whole tank for a new one at the distributor, like a propane tank, or something different? I love the idea of CO2. I need to explore that because I would have other applications for CO2 use also.
  13. Connecticut ANG used to have a couple assigned between switch from A-10 to the C-130.
  14. Does anyone have a full closed canopy from the old Monogram 1/72nd scale F-4D or J kit they no longer need or have. It'll find a good home with me.... I promise. Thanks Alex
  15. I can't seem to find the big picture, let alone the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
  16. I've always enjoyed making the B-314 by Airfix. It has an even more fond spot in my heart after reading Ed Dover's book, "The Long Way Home."
  17. Try Model Master's Gloss Gull Grey. Good luck
  18. I drew the Brockway logo if you need it. I've yet to draw cheat lines though to make a true Brockway green and yellow commuter.
  19. Don't forget Brockway flew the B1900 for Piedmont back in the day as well before switching over to the Saabs as Metro Airlines Northeast. Great build, Ben I'm getting back into my Welsh commuter builds as well.
  20. You could always do this jet: http://www.f-106deltadart.com/photo_gallery/index.php/318th-FIS/Osan-Deployment-1968/590147-500lb-Bomb-Korea-1
