  1. sorry bout that. but in my opinion the trump kit is much better than the old airfix mould. i just finished the trump kit and it was pure fun to build. what you need to correct you get from mdc. their parts are reasonably priced and first class parts. i got the seat (realy bad in the kit), the horionzontal tail surfaces and some minor things from them. so i just can say go for the trump kit. nowadays the trump spitfire is about € 60.- to € 70.- in europe and the airfix around € 45.-. so there´s no reason. have fun tom
  2. hi, i stock the hase 109g6 kit at home and just got a decalset that fits to a g4. what are the differences that can be seen on the outside. of cause the bulges. but i will leave them away. and i go for a g4 cockpit set. so do you see any problem in converting a g6 into a g4? thanks a lot for help tom
  3. hi, just found a set of ventura decals of a captured 109 g6 by usaaf. the decals look ok. but i couldn´t find the painting scheme. does anyone know how this 109 looked like? or are there pics around in the web? thanks for help tom
  4. martin digmayer seems to be a very good tip. but i am living in germany and it seems strange to me to order a czeck made prop in usa. but i couldn´t find any adress in europe where they sells these items. any idea? tom
  5. hi, just starting my first ww1 kit (after lots of ww2) i am interested in what is offered for ww1 modelers. are there real wooden probs for sale? who offers them? from car modeling i know real wood steering wheels in 1/18 and they look just great. so if you could give me some tip or web adresses this would be great help. thanks tom
  6. hi, can get a tbm avenger from am for around € 25.-. seems a good price to me. but from what moulds is the italerie avenger made of? isn´t it am? and they are cheaper. they just can deliver this kit. <_< so what do you think? am or italerie? thanks tom

hi, i am thinking of a collection of wwII navy planes in 1/48 after doing mostly british. i think about brewster buffalo (tamiya) hellcat wildcat bearcat dauntless avenger (italerie) corsair (tamiya) first question: what do you think is missing? second: i have no idea what is at the moment the best kit on the market? i am speaking about the three cats and the dauntless. thank´s for every tip. tom
  10. thanks a lot! great pic. i don´t have seen too many pics from the inside. this helps a lot. i think i go for the alu inside with the chrom green parts. the cockpit in the usual green, i think? and yes it is 1/72. 1/48 would be great, but i got to this plane over the interieur sets from cmk and legends. and the academy rescue plane is a great kit i think. i prefer those kits over the fighter versions. tom
  11. that´s a good tip, thanks. the reason is, that i want to use the cmk and legends resin interieur kits and legends crew. to see what´t inside i will "open" parts of one side of the plane. so the interieur colour is quite important for that! the other problem is that the inside fuselage is just plain with no (grghh whats the word? you know what i mean!?) now i think about building this up with some styrene 1x1mm. i am not sure if that will come out good in this smale scale.... it would be a LOT of work i think. tom
  12. hi everybody, i am going to build the academy Boeing SB-17 Air Rescue. my question is what is the inside colour of this plane? green or silver? i don´t think it depends on the outside colour. just saw pics of a green one with silver inside. ok, can anyone help me? thanks tom
