  1. Do you really think that is something only Hasegawa's employees are supposed to know? Do I need to work in Hasegawa to know that their presence in European shops is almost non-existent compared to the situation in previous century? Doesn't the number of re-releases and repackings compared to brand new releases ring a bell? But then again, this is already way off the topic, so I leave it to everyone's personal judgement.
  2. I would buy both early and often hadn't Revell decided to price it so high. First I didn't expect it to be in such a large box (like giant BV 222 and not like more similar 4-engined planes done previosuly by Revell) and then again to cost even much more than BV 222. I don't support this kind of price inflation and like someone wrote on Britmodeller, history has examples how companies adopting similar business policies ended up today (like Italeri and Hasegawa). Just compare the quality/price ratio of Italeri kits today with the one from '80-es and compare the reselling network and presence of
  3. Thanks guys, I have a pretty clear picture now. The only drawback is that now I have to buy more C-54s than I initially thought :(
  4. Thanks. Putting civilian versions aside, I just wonder if all military versions were made right out of production line during WW2 or some of them materialized as conversions of older versions in post-war period? If so, which of those from the list didn't exist during WW2? I know I am asking a lot, but my collection is based on certain time period so that is why this is so important to me. Thanks.
  5. Thanks! So that would mean that actually all of the military versions were built during WW2 and only civilian versions were built after?
  6. Hi! Now that Revell released its C-54 Skymaster kit, I would like to ask for help about its versions, ie. which versions were produced before the end of WW2. There is a pretty comprehensive list published here: DC-4/C-54 variants where you can see there were numerous versions produced. Other than those clearly stated to be post-war versions, I would like if someone could help me divide them to those built prior to 2nd September 1945 and those after that date. Thank you in advance!
  7. Hi, I sent you private message but got no answer from you. Please check your inbox. Thanks.

  10. Dear all, please advise me about most accurate AH-1S Cobra kit in 1/72nd scale. I saw completed kits of Fujimi, Hasegawa and Hobby Boss and they all appear different in outline so I am not sure which one would be the best choice for making accurate representation. I didn't see Revell's kit so I don't even know what's inside. Thanks. Marko
