  1. Thanks again, guys!! Motty - GORGEOUS shots, mate!! Cheers, Henrik.
  2. Thaks again guys!! Really nice information!! Dagger - Yes, You are right about the Argentine version originally being IIIEAs, but the ROSE 1 - Retrofit Of Strike Element - ex-RAAF Mirage IIIOs that went into service with the PAF are locally known as IIIEAs, as well!! I believe the Aussi ones were in two versiones for the single seaters - IIIO(A) and IIIO(F)?!?! The Pakistani IIIEPs were the original ones delivered back in the late 1960s / early 1970s with the charateristic IIIE "bulge" under the nose. The ex-Aussi and ex-Lebanese Mirages have undergone the same upgrade in Pakistan whereas t
  3. Thank You very much, gents!! Very useful information!! I´ll go with the Heller kits as a start!! Cheers, Henrik.
  4. Hello all, I have for some time now been "lurking" on the pakistani Mirage IIIs - especially the ones received from Australia ( III Os ) and Lebanon ( III ELs ). Would any of You be able to advise me about whits kit would be best suited for those two versions?!?! I would prefer 1/72, but if there is a better alternative in 1/48 I´m not hesitative to go for that!! The onlt external difference I see is the extended fin on the III ELs compared to the straight-down fin of the III Os ( III EA in Pakistani service ). I intend both to be build as current Pakistani examples with the ROSE 1 mods a
  5. Thanks a lot, Voodoo!! I know those already - those are actually the ones that promted me to post the questions ;-) Thanks anyway and cheers, Henrik.
  6. Hello all, Having read all this with great interest I wonder if it´s possible to attach bombs - Mk. 82s / Mk. 117s - to the BL22 pylons on Turkish F-104S CBs?? In contrast to their Italian counterparts I have noticed that Turkish F-104Ss often flew with the BL22s - and even a Tumbas on the centerline at the same time. I believe that those Turkish BL22s were bomb capable as they have the bomb-attach fix points on them; http://916-starfighter.de/Large/Stars/wT888.htm http://916-starfighter.de/Large/Stars/wT899.htm Any help highly appericiated. Cheers, Henrik.
  7. Hello all, Would any of You gents be able to help me with photo refs for Turkish F-104S Starfighters, please?!?! Especially color schemes and weaponry / Tumbas dispensers!! Cheers, Henrik.
  8. THANKS Kursad!!!! Really great ;-)) Cheers, Henrik. PS - do You have some close-ups of the "Tumbas dispenser", please?!?!
  9. Thanks again A. C. Now it works!! Cheers, Henrik.
  10. Now that we´re at it - - does any of You have photos of NORM 83 colored F-104s in TuAF service, please?!?! I am aware of about five transferred to the TuAF from the German air force in those colors and I believe at least some of them flew in TuAF service in this scheme. Cheers, Henrik.
  11. Hello Jari, Thanks You so much for Your input and attached photo-link!! Regarding the AGM-12 load-out I am positive that the Greeks used them - I´ve never seen a Turkish F-104 with AGM-12s though?!?! The LAU-3s in question here - would that be the 7-hole or the 19-hole tubes?!?! Cheers, Henrik.
  12. Thanks A.C., I can´t, however, access the site?!?! Cheers, Henrik.
  13. Hi André, Thanks for Your reply!! I´ve thought of the F-104S colors, as well, but I think that the green color looks somehow different?!?! It can be the sun, lightning etc. Anyway, I appericiate Your input. Cheers, Henrik.
