Strange how they've not responded to any of my attempts to get a shipping price from them, maybe I should just order and wait but it clearly states contact them first to get shipping prices for international orders. Anyone done orders from outside of the states recently?

Hi, I've tried to contact them via email/skype etc to get a price to ship stuff to the UK and I've had no response. Just wanted to check with anyone here if they are still trading? Cheers Matt.

Just be aware he does not accept any form of credit/debit card except the german eurocard. So if you want to buy anything (and there is BOATLOADS to choose from) get some cash from the Hamburger Sparkasse bank which is just 2 mins walk away from the shop. Bloody good bakery near by also for coffee :)

Excellent news, I will so be buying a set of these to go with the HB kit. Will you be providing enough decals to do each of the prototypes on one sheet do you think? I guess ordering will be through your website? Matt

Did anyone spot the SU-27 listed in the potential Jan releases? I'm guessing it's a repop of Academy's SU-27 + some resin/etch and funky markings. But seriously 135.00 ?? I'm not even sure if that is euros or usd, if it's euros that's CRAZY money! Matt

Good little review drewe, nice to see airfix continuing their current trend of nicely detailed kits. Thanks for that!

I can only speak for the P-40N, its a wonderful kit, being the Mauve 1/48 moulding with some excellent accessories. The mauve kit is still widely considered one of the nicest late P-40 mouldings out there, lovely surface detail, goes together like a dream, reasonably accurate, far less complicated than the hasegawa offerings. cockpit detail is a little sparse, but thats why the eduard boxing is so nice, you get all the photo etch and resin to sort out the cockpit I've got a few of them in the stash and am always on the lookout for more mauve and eduard p-40's when they come up for sale. Mat

Super looking pit there! With the Surfacer 1200, what sort of ratio of thinners you mixing at, and what sort of pressure are you spraying at? Just curious as the finish is lovely! Matt

An extremely low and loud RAF Apache Longbow buzzed right over our farm yesterday lunchtime, happened quite a lot over the last few weeks. They're are low enough to see the markings on them!

Hi All, Quick question, does anyone know if the aforementioned kit is a hasegawa repop? Here's a pic of a the box. Thanks in advance.. Matt
-
Looking sweet! Wouldn't there be some hellfires in a 48th Apache release by somebody? Matt

Thanks Gerard.. same as yourself, always a pleasure to deal with you! Buy from this chap in complete confidence!

Another one to keep a close eye on! Already looking pretty sweet Juanjo.

Definitely DEFINITELY the replacement Nose for the tornado. I'd get at least 10 for my tornados in the stash. As said, brilliant amazing kit let down by a nose that should be on another plane. CFTS and correct dorsal spines for making later blocks of F-16 would always go down a storm.

Julien, Where an earth do you get it? I can't find it anywhere locally here and its not something I fancy paying £5+ delivery for over the net if its only £2.60 a bottle!! TIA Matt

Hiya, As the topic says, anyone seen inside this book. Are there lots of good close up and detail shots, internals, landing gear, cockpit etc? Any plans? Cheers Matt

Unfortunately not. It was loads of colour profiles, only small, but all connected like a family tree, starting with the prototypes right up to the last seafires etc. Probably about 100 + Profiles on it, no text except the mark and model of the spitfire type. The profiles were only probably 1-1.5" wide on screen (depending on res of course) Thanks anyway graham, i did find that link when i was looking. I can only remember it would have been a post sometime early 2005 between feb-jun Matt

Kits arrived this morning in a very stury well stuff box! Excellent trader, no problems here. Professional through and through. Thanks Ken, was a pleasure to deal with you, look forward to more dealings in the future. All the best Matt

Many many moons ago, someone posted a link to a graphic on a website that had a side on view of every mark and sub mark of the spitfire, linked almost like a family tree. I've searched for it but came up with nothing. Can anyone remember the link I am talking about? TIA Matt
