  1. Oh, why not, I have a few more..
  2. Well, I headed up north to St Joseph, MO for part of the day to see the arrivals. I was dissapointed to hear that the B-1B was cancelled, that was the main reason for going, but still had some good stuff there. Enjoy.
  3. A decent spot would be to head north a couple of miles from Crown Center to downtown and meet at Tanner's sports bar on Broadway right by Bartle Hall convention center. It's usually not that crowded, and has lots of room. Just a suggestion. Dave J
  4. Here a couple of pics that I have of it, this was taken at Edwards AFB in Oct 05. They are not the best by any means, but it's all I have.
  5. Well, I agree with the other fellas, it was boring for a good chunk of the day, but it is about what I expected. Glad I got to meet the Three Amigos from Kansas, or should I call you "The Shockers?" The cool part of the day I spent most of the day testing out my new camera that I recieved as a early Father's Day gift from my wife, so I was pretty stoked that I can actually shoot some action shots rather that just statics. I also hope that the "KC Hawgs" decals will be a part of the nats, I have been waiting for SO long for some! If not maybe with all of the shots I have, and Jetman (Paul) h
  6. Nice shots, what's the story on the Mig-21, is there a museum there, or is it actually airworthy?
  7. Okay the F-16's are going to Atlantic City? I thought they were changing to F-15C's? Wasn't St Louis losing some F-15C's to Atlantic City, and the rest were going to Nellis? Just curious. Dave J
  8. My transaction with Ed was very smooth as well. Dave J
  9. Great shots guys! Okay, now with all of those photos who can make some decals of the 184th ARW for my 1/72 KC-135R? I already have the Kansas Coyotes out of Topeka, so that would be cool to have the Jayhawks also. Anyone? Dave J
  10. A decent little show, mainly went to get some walk-around photos of the MO ANG Eagles before they leave the state, and Whiteman's A-10, and the Superhornet demo seems to get better each time I see it. I Have yet to see the Raptors full potential, nor have I seen and of the Sukhois in person, so in my 20+ years of airshow demos the Superhornet has been the most impressive so far. It almost seems to have thrust-vectoring on it with some of the manuevers it does. This is just my humble opinion, not meant to disrespect any planes whatsoever. Enjoy.... Dave
  11. Just got mine from Sprue Bros, it is recessed lines, the decals must be the same as before (I never had one before) the date marked on decals is 1989. Dave J
  12. Went there on Sunday on way way back north from San Antonio. Disappointed that the local Vipers didn't fly at all that day. I'll just keep to the static pics until I get a better camera, for now I stick with video taping the demos. I'll try this link hope it works.... Dave J
  13. I am thinking of heading down to the Lone Star state for the NASJRB Ft Worth airshow in a couple of weeks. I was wondering what the chances of seeing some of the foriegn Vipers there from Lockheed-Martin are? Anyone been there before? Thanks. Dave J
  14. Richards-Gebaur AFB, Missouri, late 80's. First time I saw the B-1B period. It was the Friday before their airshow named "Operation Handshake". I was actually riding in the car with my mom because I wasn't old enough to drive at the time, so she was kind enough to take me up there and watch some of the arrivals. We were driving past the air tower and I heard an incredably loud rumble, not sure what could be this loud I turned to look out of the back window and it was the B-1B wings folded back climbing fast. What a site to remember! Now, fast forward 15+ years, last fall at Edwards AFB.
  15. A day late but... yesterday a couple of T-38's from Whiteman AFB doing touch & go's, and a C-17 from McGuire AFB took off. The C-17 had been here in KC for a couple days. Dave J
  16. Last one for now... Dave J
