  1. Thank you. Happy to get all the info I can.
  2. THe title says it all. I'll be in China for two weeks. Looking for hobby shops in Bejing, Nanning and Guangzhou. I am also planning to visit the Aviation museum in Bejing. Any tips woudl be appreciated.
  3. There is a hobby shop in Evansville IN, ABC Hobbies, I think that had one on the shelves last time I was there. Reasonably priced I believe. Look them up on line and give them a call.
  4. RoG Hunter in 72nd scale. Great kit. Easy build. Loved it and will build more of them in the future, and when I started, I didn't even like the Hunter.
  5. I think I have some from Insignia Magazine issue.
  6. I might have one in the stash. PM me and I will check if you still need one.
  7. I believe the convention thinking is that, on that scheme, the undersides of the wings and tailplanes were bare metal. The fuselage was green overall. Hikoki has a new book on the NVAF in the Vietnam war that is excellent for markings.
  8. I feel the same way about the F-8. It is just a great lookinig aircraft from every angle. Not nearly as many different paints schemes, but just a good looking aircraft.
  9. Well, I'll be damned. I just looked at the Mark I guide on the Hunter. You are right. When the canopy is closed there appears to be a frame back there, but when it is open, it is clear that their isn't. I'd have never known that. Thanks for the tip for the next one.
  10. Very nice. You've really captured the look of the Gray and White scheme.
  11. For the Hustler I know there is a Superscale/Microscale sheet. I am pretty sure I have it if you can't find it commercially.
  12. If you look back at the beginning of this thread, you will note that I was not really a Hunter fan. However I have to say they have grown on me and I plan to do several more. There are so many neat schemes. I think I have also been hooked by the Revell kit. I think it is one of the nicest kits I have build in a long while. IMHO Revell of Germany is the best value for the dollar in modeling today.
  13. I copied the whole set of instructions, so they may not be on the sheet.
  14. Did you get the decals? The instructions are in color. The black and white copy might be hard to read. Would you like a color scan?
