  1. I´ll buy some of them for sure, but please, Mr. Raymond Chung, take special care in the boxing process. I bought 2 Super Etendards and both have 2 right fuselages and no left one, I had to ask for them and recieved them after a month.I don´t know if the boxing process is in charge of humas or machines, but I think special care must be taken at that point. Best regards.
  2. Hi lesthegringo : In 1/48 scale, for a B/C, I should wait for the brand new Airfix one, Hobbycraft one is O.K. for me too (I´m not a rivet counter), seems like a good B/C for me, you can find it reboxed by Academy too, Monogram one is as old as injustice, but for a first model or after a long hatiatus in modeling, should be O.K. too. If you are considering an E/M or N the best one is Hasegawa, mainly for the details, although Mauve-Eduard P-40N and AMT P-40N a very very nice ones too, just half of a point behind...I have P-40N from Hasegawa, Mauve and AMT, and they are all gems, with a little
  3. Hi lesthegringo : I have used the Kits Word ones on a Testors´P-5º1D for my son....they are just awesome, one of the best declas I have ever used, perfect registration, react superb to micro set and micro sol...a pleasure to work with and their nose art is the best I ´ve ever seen on a decal sheet.
  4. Thanks for your kind reply Troy
  5. Dear fellow modelers: I´m in the process of building that machine, and I wasn´t able to find a source to get the right colors for it, I mean, the "green one". What should be the right Tamiya Accrilic color?, I read somewhere that could be either XF-61 or XF-27, but I don´t think those will be right....Any help?, any acrilic manufacturer would be O.K. as well. Best regards, Juan
  6. Thank you very much Ken. Best regards, Juan
  7. A bit off topic, but since I´ve started it....Flankerman...are you there?...whats the best SU-27 in 1/72 scale for you?, Zvezda or Trumpeter (I think Trumpeter has some models, but I´m not sure, I´m a 1/48 modeler mainly). Best, Juan
  8. Thank you very much for your help. I just bought the Revell Germany boxing in tiger scheme. A real beauty!
  9. Dear fellow modelers: I am not very familiar with 1/72 scale, most of my models are 1/48, so I was thinking wich would be the best MiL-Mi 24 Hind A/D/E and F out there in 1/72 scale?. Best regards, Juan
  10. Thank you very much to my fellow modelers Tom and Steve for their replies. I´ve just order ne new Revell kit and the Academy one to make the things even...LoL. Thanks again!
  11. Hello to all. Well I managed to get a 1/72 scale Hasegawa B-17F with decals from Aeromaster, for "My Devotion", the problem is this, that a/c as far as I know, has an astrodome in the nose, and this kit has the "Menphis Belle" nose instead, without the astrodome, has any company got a B-17F in 1/72 scale with an astrodome in its nose?. Thanks a lot for reeading this. Best to all, Juan
  12. Hi!: You´ll have to e-mail to the shop where you bought it or to their e-mail, wich was posted here previously. In my case, the online hobby store made the request for the new parts ans GWH only wanted to have a photo of the wrong parts taken with a ruler next to them, to check that they were effectively the wrong ones and they wouyld send the replacements. Best, Juan
  13. I contacted the on line hobby store from where I bought the kit, and they contacted GWH. All you need, if you would prefer to contact them directly is to take some photos of the "short" parts and send the pics to them, they´ll send you the replacements parts. That is what I call "good customer care and service", that put them in the same level as Airfix and Eduard. Both of them have an excellent customer service attention.
  14. Maybe for you, dude is no big deal cos you have a good job and a better salary, here fifty bucks means smething. I would´t argue if I´ve just paid 15 USD for it, but it cost me 50 USD plus shipping, and I am exercicing my right to have a proper product for wich I paid for. It is not an "old" Monogram P-51 kit, it is supposed to be a state of the art one with a good quality control, well, it seems they don´t have a good quality control at all, let´s see how it is their customer service. Just my two cents
  15. Well I wrote in their facebook page and send them an e-mail, you can enter www.lionroar.net and there you´ll find their e-mail, anyway, this is it: marketing@lionroarmodel.cn. I´ve sent an email to them and to the Hobby Store where I bought the crap, my suggestion is, anybody who has the wrong parts should enter to their facebook page and leave a complaint, I did that. It is very frustrating that a company that is supposed to have "super wonder kits" make mistake after mistake in a row...remember their P-61?, now their MiG-29 and their F-15.....Trumpeter has been beaten a lot for less than th
  16. Hello to all: Well, as I read this topic I went to my kit stash, opened the 9-13 boxing and.......bloody Mary!, it also has the wrong pylons and fuel tanks, what a crap, it is a very expensive kit, it is supposed that things like these ones couldn´t happen to a first class kit!. Just sent a pm on their Facebook page
  17. Thanks for your answer Joe!. Best, Juan
  18. Hello to all: I have the following question, have all the boxings the same lower wing part?.. The real SBD's had the same lower wing or were they different?. My Italeri SBD, wich is a reboxing of the Accurate Miniatures one came with a warped lower wing at the right end of it, a friend offered me an SBD-2 wing, can I use it?. Best, Juan
  19. Thanks for your reply Jennings
  20. Hi to all: I saw at some sites, including Hasegawa´s ne, that they´ll release a LA-7. My question is, does anybody know if this is a rebox of Gavia´s one?, or maybe, Hasegawa has introduced a new toolled LA-7?.
  21. Hi. I saw your post, so you´re looking for a SUE drop tank. I think I have one, must check if I am correct, I´m not sure since I gave up the 1/72 scale in favour of 1/48. What´s your location?.

    Best,

    Juan

  22. Hello Stephen: I´ve already looked at there, it seems a possibly solution, I´m going to print that if I cannot get a scan of the sheet, but I don´t know if it would be "readable". Thanks for the tip. Best, Juan
  23. Hello to all: As the title says, I need a scan or the instructions sheet of Hasegawa´s 1/48 scale Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 Kate Model 3 "Coral Sea Torpedo Command", kit number 09717. My location is Buenos Aires city, República Argentina. Feel free to send me a private message. Best regards, Juan
