Chris, sorry, no. I too have been wanting to build multiple special mission Herks in 1/144 and the best that I can find are the IFR pods for the USAF HC-130H/N/P and USMC KC-130F/R/T.  You would still have to scratch build the AN/ARD-117 radome.  I am waiting for the GWH Herk to be released to see what options are available.

Same here as well as the MC-130 variants and EC-130 variants. Just to name a couple.

I really want to get a few of the new GWH 1/144 C-130H kits, to see if the shape and extra features are worth the price.

I just now saw the scuttlebutt on this forthcoming release and hope it is finally the perfect (?) 130 in this scale.

Also on a side note. Sorry about the off topic question here. Any word on the P-3 Airtanker belly tank?

  2. So I finally got around to adding the 1/144 Roden AC-47 to my stash. I see there is a 1/72 sheet. Was wondering if it has ever been scaled down before?
A sheet with a mix of AC-47, EC-47 and any other cool post war C-47's.
Figure in that scale would have to add more  to make a full sheet.

Maybe it is just me, and i am by no means an Su-25 expert; But does it look off somehow to anyone else? Cant really but my finger on it but it feels like the whole nose section is off? Probably just me though, as Zvezda tends to be overall accurate in the overall shape. (ignoring T-50, as that was literally actively sabotaged by Sukhoi/FSB)

According to this official DOD photo. It looks fine.

    Sorry couldn't resist. 🤣

    Seriously though. It looks good.

Shame they fell apart before releasing some of their recently announced 1/48 stuff like 1/48 Hind, Ka-50/52, Mi-28, Su-25, Su-57.. Most of those would sell like hotcakes, presumably. It would certainly make more business sense to go first with those rather than to release like half a dozen UH-60 1/35 variants ALL AT ONCE. Speaking of which, 1/48 UH-60 variants should have come first as well.

    I know right?!
Was totally chomping at the bit for those!

Any idea what the amount of nose weight is? I am not interested in taping all the parts together, someone

must have built one OR a DC-10. They are similar in size. Thanks. jon

Does it say on the instructions? Most of the time they do. But I have not built a EE kit.

I like this one, though I'm not sure, for me, being a hard rocker, that I could listen to as much Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller as it would take to complete all my WWII airplanes 😊

No Who, Metal or Punk rock as the build would end up smashed.
Also NO SEX in the model room!
