  1. I had that problem. Was trying without success. It kept wanting me to join. Finally ended up doing that as I thought it was for the tapatalk login. Nope it wasn't and now I have lost all my previous posts. Not happy at all with their new hosting service. Guess I will stick with Britmodeller and here.
  2. Thanks for the info Chris! Ordered a set today. But I would have supported you. Oh well. I still need a couple sets of those Su-34 Khibiny pods.
  3. Just ordered a set! I don't even have the kit yet. Must have been bitten by a bug.
  4. Viking is cool to visit if you're in town. It is a tiny hole in the wall store. RC Country is mostly what the name implies. Folsom Hobbies was great but shut down a couple of years ago or so. I haven't been to Ace since they moved. But have been told it's a shell of what it used to be due to space restrictions. Hobbies Unlimited is good but a little pricey. San Antonio hobbies and D&J Hobbies in the south bay was a real shame to lose those. Grew up in Concord there was some really nice shops there over the years. Centurion in Walnut Creek I really miss. Mike had a
  5. How about the exhaust cans for the new 1/144 Academy B-1B kit.
  6. Hmm interesting. Please post when finished. Thanks, Alan
  7. I thought about that too. I didn't know about ones from Shapeways. I did see there are some from Zactoman. But there is the size difference. Yes I saw a post about the size difference. I also compared the two side by side and there are definitely differences in details also.
  8. One thing I did notice. It seems they might have been limited by the mold process. But the exhaust is needing some aftermarket assistance.
  9. Not a huge fan of the B-1B. Maybe it's the color scheme, I don't know. But after seeing it built on Andy's Youtube channel, I want one now. Maybe even 2.
  10. Like this one? Online sources say it came from Belarus. Dogfighting an F-16 over Groom lake.
  11. I can get on now! It seems to have fixed itself.
  12. That is totally awesome!! Here is one showing close ups of booster return.
  13. Go down to available scales. 1/48 is shown. I have the sheet btw. In 1/48 you see black with bronze bits in it. Not the weave you would see in larger scales. But convincing enough that you don't need to paint it. Saw a build somewhere that they used this sheet for a Block 52. Looked good. https://www.scalemotorsport.com/decals/composite-fiber-decals/carbon-fiber-plain-weave-black-on-pewter-metallic.html

  16. Look at my small walkaround I took at a local airshow back in 2012. Shows a little bit of the seat. I have the album set on public so you should be able to see it even if not signed up. https://www.facebook.com/oneofive.thud/media_set?set=a.276547762457818
  17. Who needs a Tesla when you can have one of these! 😂
  18. 😲 Wow! That looks amazing and intimidating. Can't wait to see more.
  19. I have to admit I know nothing about the Attacker other than it's British. But apart from that. It looks like you did a really nice job on it. Cheers! Alan
  20. This was one of the best sheets ever. IMHO. The closest you can get is an -104A it would seem. If you can find it. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/victory-productions-vpd48005-usaf-and-nasa-starfighters--203178
