Dave: I can only comment on the Canadian Fireflys and there appears to be no hard fast rules. Some got 'em covered some don't! Lots of pics with Mark 1's carrying rockets with the light exposed. Also photos with the light apparently covered over by some u/k means, but the paint matches the upper and lower surfaces. Mk T1's (only a few) appear to have had the light in the leading edge. There are also photos of Mk Vs with no guns, no light as well, and some with the light in place. I would guess you would have to find a photo of the a/c you wish to do and match it accordingly. hacker: Patrick Martin's (with Leo Pettipas) book on the Royal Canadian Navy-Aircraft Finish and Markings-1944-1968 has the photo of the Tiger Moth in question. The text states that the three Tiger Moths acquired by the RCN were finished in standard RCAF yellow with black cowling. The serial # is # 8865. There is the same photo in Leo Pettipas' Book on Canadian Naval Aviation-1945-1968 , 2nd Edition-1990 Alvin5182

Gents: I think you'll find the navigation lights at the outside/forward tip of the wings. The small lights on top of the wing, slightly inboard are the formation lights which are blue. gents: While waiting for the Avenger to dry and such I decided to pull out an old Heller T-bird and produce something else. Leading edge decals and True Details bang seats. Not very many parts in this kit, but it looks like a T-bird. This seems to be a seldom photographed bird. ALL BLACK! Very little filler req'd considering the age of the kit. A few sink marks and a slight misalignment of the lower wing joints. Painting has started (brush painted Humbrol gloss black) Alvin5182

A little more progress on the Avenger Added some small intakes/exhausts on the fuselage behind the turret. Masked and painted the canopy ( tiresome ordeal), got the wings on and some painting has started. This is being brush painted with Sea Blue Gloss (Humbrol) so it's a bit of a time consuming ordeal. Paint a few sections and wait 2-3 days for it to thoroughly dry (as hard as a rock) then paint a few more sections. Wonderful "authentics" paint from the stash. Alvin5182

Rules? Tackling should be below the shoulders. You have to "wrap up" the ball carrier. No cross-bodies! The ball can not be thrown forward. You can kick the ball forward and only those players behind the kicker are eligible to retrieve the ball and advance it. Mike: the Scoobie Do stuff is for my next project. The interior on this one is Airies. the Scoobie Do interior stuff is a bit "lumpy", not really detailed as such but Vic Schuerman did a two part article in the IPMS magazine on building it and he basically says that once the interior is painted (a dark grey colour, it really all disappears under the canopies. The Airies stuff pretty well does the same. A shame to lose all the great detail.I've started to cut the fuselage for the extended canopies and they fit "right on' . I read an article on Hyperscale about the sabre wings and the reviewer
