  1. If still available I would like 38) Squadron in Action- B-25 Mitchell Soft Cover Thanks Guys
  2. Hi, Looks like I am a winner but unsure what prizes remain ?? How do I find out Thank you
  3. Hi, I am getting ready to start my 1/48 Academy F-4b phantom using Furball decals. The aircraft I have chosen is based at Da Nang around 1966 with VMFA-323. I was planning using 4 X AIM-9 2 gas tanks on the outer pylons 6 Mk 82 with fuse extenders on the inner pylons 6 Mk 82 with fuse extenders on the front on a MER on the centreline 2 X AIM-7 on he rear sparrow places Is that a realistic loadout ?? What version of AIM-9 and AIM-7 ?? Guessing also that the plane would be not glossy and quite weathered. Many Thanks Andrew
  4. Hi, Count me in Merry Christmas all
  5. Currently building the 1/48 Eduard Mig-21 bis. There doesn't appear to be any obvious clear locating points for attaching the nose gear leg into the wheel well. Anyone build this kit and can provide any info on how best to do it ???? Many Thanks
  6. Hi, I recently acquired the Hobbyboss 1/32 IL-2M Stormovic. I have so far bought some exhausts, masks and cockpit etch for it but am unable to find any wheels to replace the rubber ones in the kit. I can also not find any decal. Anyone know if there is anything else available ??? Also trying to find a decent build review or tweak list. Many Thanks
  7. Thanks Jennings, Will just go with approximations then at this stage, assuming they aircrft would have a fairly rough weathered look anyway while in Afganisstan.
  8. Hi, I am about to begin building an Eduard Mig-21 BIS using Afterburners decals for Red 24 112th Guards Independent Aviation Regiment based at Bagram, Afganistan in 1985. The decal sheet says this is an early BIS with rounded windscreen !!?? The camouflage is sand and medium Brown over light blue with Green nose cone. Could someone please assist me with which Humbrol or Model Master paints would be best to use for this and also potential load outs that I could use. Also any other information that may assist me in building this kit. Many Thanks Andrww
  9. Hi, Thank you for your reply, I am OK with the aircraft themselves it was just the colours of the Sidewinders and ACMI pods I am confused about. Andrew
  10. Hi, I am building three AFV 1/48 F-5 Tigers 2 are USA Nellis agressors and the other a USN F-5F agressor. Each is going to have an ACMI pod and a sidewinder. The F is also having a small centreline gas bag. Now my question is what colour should these all be. Is there a difference between the USN and USA ones. I am using the Sidewinders from the kit but am using ACMI pods from spare Tamiya F-16 kits if that matters at all. Many Thanks Andrew
  11. Hi, I am building the Italeri version of the Kinetic 1/48th Hawkeye and building it as a Liberty Bells bird from around 2009/10. The instructions for building the rotadome state to use a dome thing which goes on the top in the center only for an older bird. But there are two different domes in the box. One that looks like a tall fez hat and the other just a small hump. What I would like to know is which one, if any would be accurate ? Thank you
  12. I had a warped fuselage so I contacted Sprue bros and they asked me for a picture, which I duly sent to them, they passed onto someone and within about 8 days I had a package with a new upper Fuselage, in the plastic holder and wrapped in lots of bubblewrap. No warping on the new piece. Excellent service to from all involved.

    F-5E

Hi, I would like to buy an AFV F-5E to build as a USAF Agressor. I can only find Chilian, ROKAF, Austrian boxings. Are these the same base kit to build an Agressor ? Many Thanks
