  1. PAVE- Are you kidding me or what, those shots are awesome, especially with the very camera shy PAVELOW-I love that helo, and that shot where it's raining, is the hottest-MH-53J in it's elements...keep em coming
  2. Wow, very somber moment...eye-watering...epecially the large formation approach. FOREVER CATS
  3. Maniac- I am not sure if there is an actual article in the tips&techniques section ARC. I simply followed by the directions as called for BMF, and have even took to adding it on the pitot tube of my Viper...heck with some patient and determination, may also add a small portion to the the landing gear struts. The foil lays down very reponsive like, so have that q-tip/soft-cloth ready, as you can conform it or curve it around said surface. I am still toying around with the size reduction per the directions of our very own Ken Middleton, but I can't get it to work for me-so I will keep tryin
  4. Ryan- I just finished my 1/48 Block 30's GE engine with the BMF, and I must say it turned out phenomenal...I have applied dulcoat/wash to it, and it looks great(can't figure out how to scale down my pics I took of it, because I so desperately want to post it here on ARC). I simply masked the engine off prior to painting, blasted my bird with the two-tone grey scheme, and then grabbed my x-acto and a soft cloth/q-tips, and cut appropriately for the engine and applied the BMF...laid down very well, no hang-ups, and when necessary snips and cuts were needed, only that portion came off-didn't tea
  5. Ken, great shots man, I would say you got it! Keep shootin away for us man :)

  8. Hell yeah!!!Come to think of it, I always wanted to do an ADF B-model, hmmm...no fin bulges-no problem...AIFF antennas-can make that happen...now-what unit...hmmm...maybe Michigan(checkerboard paint scheme under intake...or maybe even Oregon or the 'Bucernero's' of the Puerto Rico ANG. Oh hell...I got lost in a reese's moment. let me get back to work. BRING ON MY MIGHTY F-16
  9. Hot damn Chappie, you hear this man, I guess we were not off our meds when we spied em on greatmodels a while back. Damn, now I am ready to trade away some of my stash-EA-6B you may be out the door. But, I will hold tight on excitement until I see this things show up, and at $21.99, come on man, that's wonderful...I see 90-778 Mig Killer in the future on my shelf to start.
  10. Cool...the Eagle will look damn good with something hangin from it's belly.
  11. Waco or Murph, any idea if the F-15s will carry the ALQ-188...most likely I am guessing, and on the centerline station right.
  12. Not true, the B-1B as has been already stated, was still fullfilling it's primary role/duties as a nuclear bomber, and was not deployed during Gulf War 1. In any event, the CMUP upgrade was implemented to provide the aircraft with the ability to drop conventional munitions so that it may be an additional assest-again, the end of the cold war basically left the BONE(again designed from the start as a nuclear bomber) without a mission, so with is massive internal payload capability(the greatest of all three bombers), hence conventional capability for the mighy B-1B. Never useless-read the storie

    MK-82's

alrighty then, quick question guys...I'm ready to load my F-16C with some 500lb 'pig iron,' you know...the ones filled with concrete...so my question is, is the color on those blue inert bombs intermediate blue or something of that shade. I'm going for the dull faded look, so I guess with a dry/pastel powder rubbing, I may arrive at that. Any idea on the color of these bombs gents.
  16. should be some on F-16.net or airliners.net
  17. oh yeah Chappie, that brings back memories when I was sittin in that very spot with the 121st EOR guys launching those Block 10s down to Dare County...damn those were the days...DCANG RULES.

  20. Cool-hope their big-mouths- I'll have to keep an eye out when I go home from now on to see those, or maybe I'll just make a trip down to Atlantic City IAP and check em out on the line.
  21. Been checking the gmw site daily...no change in the listings...not active or anything. I for one will sleep a little more soundly once I get these damn thoughts outta my head.
  22. ohh man, you guys crack me up I am with ya though Kursad...that's a disservice to my mighty Viper.
  23. Bjarne- Excellent photos man, the hell with Joan Lunden on the "Inside" you are the man...I certainly got my fix, and those fluffy clouds above, made for an even better photo op. Good stuff man.
  24. absolutely man, you know I feel ya-and I really feel that these suggestion we have proposed are very simple to implement
  25. Ditto here doctorpepper, I can stress it enough just how welcomed new tool vipers-especially 'family- models, would be welcome-include LAU-129s/GE/MCID/P&W/NSI/bulged gear/lantirn or litening pods in place of the travel pods(I have enough of em) and desperately the WAR-HUDs-call it a "universal' block F-16-can build any version right up to 50
