  1. I thought I had all these sheets, but I can't find them anywhere if I did. Would like to find sheets: 48-013 VFA-211 Checkmates 48-032 VFA-102 Diamondbacks thanks! Mike
  2. Larry, Check out seaforce.org I got several pictures of various squadrons fielding the SHARP pod.
  3. Same here. I ordered in December when they had the special shipping deal. Original invoice said air mail. A week later, I got my shipping invoice that stated surface, 2-6 mos. Feels a bit like a bait and switch, but it is what it is. nearly 4 months and still states it's waiting for pickup in china.
  4. Stefan, That's great info, thank you . I'm building an Academy B as a Marine aircraft from '66, so I it seems like it would not have any of these updates (antennas or gear covers). I have some Hypersonic mk5 early seats as well. My tamiya will be a later B from '68 so would have all of these.
  5. Thanks, Dave! Thats great info!
  6. Regarding the 4x antenna under the wing and the hump above the main gear. Tamiya calls out installing all. Academy doesn't mention them, but they're all in the kit. Some pictures I've found show the antenna, some without. I can't really tell about the upper wing. Can someone provide some insight about when and where these were added? thanks Mike
  7. Would like to trade for a Zouki **** F-4EJ, any boxing. Please let me know what you are looking for so I can narrow down a trade offer. I have lots of 1/48 and 1/35 kits. I'm in Ohio, thanks Mike
  8. Glad they worked out for you
  9. Looking for the older fighter town sheet for VFA-11 early super hornets. thanks, Mike
  10. HI Larry, Sorry, I don't have this kit. However, if the version you want to do has the rounded camera bay, the Japanese boxing of the RF-4E "Old Fashion" has all the parts of the RF-4C, but only includes that rounded camera window. cheers, MIke PS, thanks again for the decals.
  11. Thanks for checking. The ‘93 markings are different than the later versions. I think most other sheets are of the later type. I’d honestly be happy with sny of yhe Idaho markings at this point.
  12. Ah, the highs and lows of model building. thanks for looking
  13. Thanks for the offer, but it's the Idaho ANG bird I'm looking for. I was in Saudi with them during '93-94 OSW, and would love to do the jet that was there. cheers, Mike
  14. I know this is a very long shot. I thought I had this sheet, but cannot find it. I only need the markings for one aircraft, the boring 69-0298 from June '93. thanks! Mike
  15. Fairfield Hobby shop in Fairfield, Ohio. I would ride my bike to the shop. I'd get $10 for mowing grass, and I could get a 1/48 monogram kit for that. Lots of A-4s, F-4s,etc. I saved up and bought my first hasegawa kit from him, the 1/48 F-4E with Missouri ANG markings. Buzz closed in the mid 90's. Johnny's Toys in Winton Woods was also a great place to get monogram kits. They stocked everything, plus a huge model railroad. I was crushed when they closed up.
  16. I need to order some of these and get started on my Ohio ANG birds! I look forward to seeing yours built!
  17. Jeffrey, great answer! Thank you. So the best option for clear parts is still injection molding?
  18. Is it possible to make clear parts using 3D printers? Specifically, we need a frameless windscreen for the F-4 Phantom. The F-4E, G, and RF-4C all flew with them, and Speed Hunter did really good decals for 2 F-4Es and an F-4G. With the release of the Meng kits, now's the time!
  19. Wow! Ok then!! I guess I should probably pick up a couple more kits. thanks, Jake
  20. Joe, thanks for the opinion! I am leaning towards just accepting it. I found there was an earlier microscale sheet that had the correct color, but finding one in usable conditions is another story. cheers, Mike
  21. I'm looking for the old microscale sheet 48-144 with Kentucky and Reno RF-4C markings. From what I can tell, this sheet was printed with the correct shade of blue. Whereas, the newer sheet is way too light. If you've got this sheet, and it's in decent shape, please contact me. Mike
