  1. Its an Aux fuel tank. Werner's Wings sells them when I get moved in. Floyd
  2. I think the Staffel color. It certainly looks red to me Floyd
  3. I'd go with the green, but not zinc chromate green. More of a field green. Floyd
  4. This looks fabulous. I would say that if you are going to add them to a Cobra, Huey, Loaches, Kiowa or early Kiowa Warriors, that you leave off the end and crimp the paper on the end of the shoulder harness. They don't use the metal ends like shown. The fabric is sewn into a loop. The rest however is perfect for US Army helicopters up through the 1980s. Apaches and Blackhawks have five point harnesses in the front. Floyd
  5. Let me recommend Metallic Details. Great stuff. I don't believe they have the XM-35, but a lot of other really cool stuff. The Special Hobbies boxing takes care of a lot of the shortcomings of the ICM kit at less than $10 more. Some other good stuff should you choose to use it is the MicroDesign Interior and Exterior sets. I got mine off of eBay. I'll be starting this kit shortly. Floyd
  6. Only the HH-60H. The SH-60F is close but it has the wrong door configuration on the left side. Floyd
  7. Just to be clear, these things have sold like hotcakes. I was quickly sold out of what I had on hand. I have more coming so if you've ordered and paid for them please be patient. I'm getting more made but it takes time to print them. Floyd
  8. OK didn't know. I had no idea. I was just wondering. Thanks. Hopefully he will be okay Floyd
  9. Is it me or has there been no update since 13 Dec? Just checking Floyd
  10. Well you need at least two per model and I have two ICM kits unbuilt and, oh I don't know, seven Revell kit. Just saying Floyd
  11. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for the ICM Cobras from Metallic Details. Thier stuff looks amazing, even better than mine. I bought TOW racks even though I have a bunch of them. The things you can do in CAD is superior to what you can do with scratch building things and casting them. I'm not ashamed to say they look great. I bought four sets. Their turrets look great. All of their rocket pods look impressive. I bought a bunch of them. I was hoping they did a better job on the landing gear. It looked perfect. I need both a early and late unfaired one. The Kelik s
  12. These are the older ones that were done with tubes. I saw his resin ones and I suspect that they are even better than these. I'll probably order some just for my other ICM kits. Floyd
  13. Well they are the Fireball Modelworks on this one. The kit ones are okay but nothing to write home about. Let's see the Special Hobbies resin. I think CMK will eventually release the parts in a set. That will probably be the easiest way to get there. PM me. I have them but not enough to justify putting them on the website. They are left overs from the AH-1F Super Conversion, which I have to do to this kit to see how it works out. It should fit with a little bit of work. Floyd
  14. There will be one on the IPMS/USA website. It is the AH-1G Late. See attached pic. Working on the figures from ICM right now. I have three Special Hobby AH-1Gs coming. I have to build one for a magazine so there will be more. I do love the kit. I think the Special Hobby one is the best of the bunch though. It includes all the resin and photo etch that the kit needs, except the main rotor dust deflectors. Luckily, I have those made up already. Floyd
  15. To answer your question, yes zinc chromate is the primer for the airframe. Floyd
  16. Bases by Bill can make a base for you with plexiglass and they are beautifully done and relatively inexpensive for what you get. I love mine. https://basesbybill.com/ Floyd
  17. No he did not pass those onto me. I'm hoping he sends me the rest of the stuff for the AH-1G, and AH-1S and AH-1J. I plan on including some of his subjects on my sheet because I think they will look better silk screened. Count on Cindy Ann and Sounds of Silence. Floyd
  18. Working on decals for 1/32nd scale right now that can be scaled down to 1/48th with little effort. Floyd
