Awesome, ordered today thank you! You mentioned other things as well that you were working on with the Zulu, you have anything else?
I've debated on some LAU-61 and LAU-68 pods but think I'll leave those for someone else to do. I have some printed up, if you're interested PM me. Don't forget the Aux tank for the Cobra.

I know I kind of abandoned this project, but Ill be restarting it here shortly and would like to know if you were intending to release a replacement set? I havent seen anything mentioned on your FB page regarding these, so thought I would ask...
Also I have a bit more upgrades for the helicopter now too so once Im done with my AH-64DI Saraf and E variants, Ill be finally ready to start work on this thing again.
You're correct. I need to add that to the website.

The optics shape on the right side was different on the Whiskey than the Army C-Nite. Most, if not all, were sold to Foreign Military Sales, such as Israel and South Korea.

Understood. I knew about the C-NITE but thought you were saying both AH-1Fs and AH-1Ws used it. Since the C-NITE was limited in its deployment and if Jonathan can get some made, any chance you can illuminate the units or aircraft that had them for markings?
I only know of the Korean units having them. My unit, 1-2 Attack had them. Not sure but suspect the Cav and others had them as well.

Floyd are you referring to the NTS upgrade that the Whiskey's received in the late 90's and which changed the nose profile?
No the C-Nite system on the AH-1F. We flew them in Korea in 1992. It wouldn't take much to do the Marine TSU as long as the nose was properly shaped

If you could do a C-Nite TSU that would be helpful to me. Later Whiskeys used it as well as some AH-1F.

Purchased three sets. They look great. Most of this set can be used on the AH-1G.

The rest of the markings and stencils. These are works in progress and not the final product. We hope to get all the markings on two sheets and a stencil sheet. I will also sell the stencils separately. Sorry for the small pics but that is all that this forum allows. If you want to see more pics, check out the Werner's Wings Facebook page

Very nice. I just finished up the 1/48th scale AH-1Q. The AH-1S(Mod) is next on the list.

Great picture Floyd, thanks for sharing it! Would love to know how you came across that shot. Definitely looks like they fielded a different version (note that this device is labeled as model 1B) but doesn't look like it would be too difficult to mod your part to replicate the one in the OGS pic above.
G-4 classified. Can't reveal the source, but it is a declassified photo.

I have acquired the rights to produce the BAM Models AH-64 upturned exhausts for the Hasegawa kits for Werner's Wings. They should be available sometime in January for sale.

I'm attempting to get the rights to produce the BAM Models exhausts under Werner's Wings. I'm waiting for him to respond to me. Stay tuned

Try BAM Models. They produce an upturned exhaust for the Apache that is better than the kit ones.

hello Floyd .
thank you for your answer, they do not have a specific name, or a denomination?
Could you tell me where to look, to have the dimensions, the length, the diameter?
and there’s a good chance they’ll end up being 3D printed.Best regards .
phil .
Not that I'm aware of. Look up Lycoming T53 Shipping Container. I might be able to measure one at work. I'll see if we have one.

They are engine shipping containers. Do them up in 3D CAD. They are used a lot.

I want an AH-1F/S in 1/35 so I can support your work by purchasing your launcher set up.
Werner's Wings has a 1/32nd scale AH-1F conversion available while supplies last.

Yes, this was on my mind. Contemplating doing so. Still have to model those parts up. Also thinking possibly 1/32 or 1/32. I am sure there are Cobras in that scale although not sure what variants are available that carried TOWs.
These look great. I ordered three sets to test out on my kits. I like them better than my sets at Werner's Wings. I will continue to sell mine as long as I have stock, but these are superior. I would like to have the option to add missiles. Not all of them but just one or two missiles, because I don't ever remember carrying more than three missiles, not even during Desert Storm.
The AH-1Q/S/P/E/F and the AH-1T/W all carried the TOW missile. So far none of the Army Cobras are available in the larger scales, except for the Werner's Wings AH-1F/S Super Conversion. ICM or Special Hobbies will release an AH-1Q/S, like the 1/48th scale one, in 1/32nd. Hopefully in 1/35th. MRC released the AH-1T and AH-1W in 1/35th scale. The Zulu has the capability but I've never seen them carry a TOW, especially with Hellfire avialable.
In 1/48th, Monogram and Fujimi both released the AH-1S/F. Both could use the new TOWs. Italeri and Revell/Germany also released the AH-1W in 1/48. They are the same kits.
I believe Italeri released the AH-1T, but I don't think it is TOW equipped. You'd have to add the TSU on the nose. Metallic Details sells one for the AH-1Q/S. There are some other parts you'd have to add inside the cockpit that are pretty prominent, namely the site itself.
