    No love for OH-58A

I've been trying to convince somebody, anybody, to do the OH-58A/C. No joy. Go to the FB page and ask. You never know. Floyd

    1/32 & 1/48 - Hughes TH-55 Osage by AMP - 3D renders

I'm in either way. I'll definitely pick up the 1/48th scale kit and probably the 32nd scale one as well. Would prefer 1/35th but I can live with 1/32nd Floyd
  4. The new UH-1D/H decals, WW Decals 48-14 Ride of the Valkyries- UH-1D/H in Vietnam and WW Decals 48-15 UH-1D/H stencils, as well as, 48-13 UH-1D ARC-102 HF Antenna Mounts, 48-14 UH-1D/H Anti-Strella Set, and 48-16 UH-1H Upgrades are now available for purchase. With these resin pieces you should be able to do most modern versions of the UH-1H. We are working on Post-Vietnam decals now so if you have a subject that we should include now is the time. This sheet will primarily be US Army with some Vietnamese aircraft thrown in. Send me pics. I make no promises but if I don't have pics I can promise you it won't get done. We are also gathering information about foreign UH-1D/Hs. So if you have one that you'd like to see now is the time to let us know. Provide pics and such. Email me at fwernerjr@comcast.net or info@wernerswings.com Floyd

Werner's Wings UH-1D/H Decals and Resin available now

In 1/48th scale, I might be working on that. In 1/35th scale we showed them the error of their ways so they should fix that. Floyd

Werner's Wings UH-1D/H Decals and Resin available now

No real difference. The only difference between the D and H are an upgraded engine. The pitot tube was in the nose of the D model and the H model was in the roof, however, many D models were upgraded to H models without changing the pitot tubes. Floyd

Werner's Wings UH-1D/H Decals and Resin available now

Yes on the decals. Maybe on the resin, if it’s needed. Hopefully it won’t be needed. We’ve provided plenty of upgrades to add to the 1/35th scale kit. Floyd

Werner's Wings UH-1D/H Decals and Resin available now

Just as soon as Kitty Hawk releases the 1/35th scale kit I will do a 1/35th scale decal sheet. I have to budget a run of decals as they are quite expensive to print. Floyd
  13. Send them to me at fwernerjr@comcast.net. No promises but we'll see Floyd
  14. The issue with the UH-1N is that the Marine and Air Force versions are vastly different. On top of that, the Marine N was vastly different from Desert Storm until it’s retirement so deciding what era to depict was an issue. I did have some input but not as much as usual. I was really busy. I based my findings on a Marine UH-1N from just after Desert Storm. The kit may have the later sensors as well. Again I only have a little input when it comes to that. I did not have any input into the decal selection. Werner’s Wings will do a sheet because I owe it to Patrick Namanski to do his last flight helicopter. Floyd
  15. Thanks. If It’s good I’ll use whatever we come up with. CAD is better but old fashioned scratch built is okay Floyd
  16. Great. I'll look forward to it. Floyd
  17. I want to release both a Vietnam and a modern Medevac set but the truth of the matter is I'm just one man and right now I don't have time. If you do it, maybe I could cast it. I really wanted to do a later hoist as well. I have some people working on other Huey items. Floyd
  18. This is great looking. I absolutely love it Floyd

    Operation Gothic Serpent Aircraft references

I've had these photos for a while and could not release them. Guess it doesn't matter now. Yes these 530s were from another unit, NOT Task Force 160th. I won't elaborate on that anymore. The OH-58D is also NOT Task Force 160th. They are the unarmed variant. I have the unit designation somewhere. Now you know where the videos of the crashing Super 61 came from. The 530 filmed it. There job was observation and intelligence gathering. Floyd
  22. I never said that you won't be able to fold the blades. They had the references so maybe. I don't know that part of it. I only see the nose avionics panel exposed. We've, KH and I, have talked about having them closed up and a score line on the inside. I think that is the current state they are doing. The avionics door off is so you can see the detail contained inside. There is no release date as of now. It looks like it was pushed back into early 2019. Not sure why. Floyd

    Operation Gothic Serpent Aircraft references

We are always looking for new photos, but what I want at Werner's Wings is to verify tail numbers and crews if he can remember them Floyd

    MH-47E or CH-47F conversion

If you know someone that can scan 1/35th scale parts I'd shrink them down to 1/48th scale. Floyd
