  1. I'm gettin' ready for Su-33: This is deck tractor 3913 in 1/48. Working on the wheels right now. :)/>
  2. I'm selling unstarted Collect Aire MiG-31 in mint condition with two Aires K-36D seats (actually one is QB) AND Equipage wheels for MiG-31 the price is 120 EUR (160 USD). Shipping is extra. I will calculate on request I accept paypal. Gianni
  3. People have you ever considered that not all Spitfires (talking about the same types) are the same. We are talking war time productions from difrent factories, diferent supliers of parts. Even diferent workers on the same machine make diferent parts. War time productions have higher tolerances for errors, thus they couldn't be all the same. Also when manufacturing kits, the molds might be perfect, but what comes out might be far from. You could never predict accuratly deformation of plastics. So talking of errors within 1 mm (or even over) span is ridiculous, for me. I'm engineer, BTW.
  4. Yes aftermarket is availlable for the aircraft, but not so good for the ordinance. I built one myself & I know it.
  5. Good thing about the new Su-35 set apart from separate nose is that it includes a cockipt tub. The Su-33 set does not have it & if you want to place a resin one you have to drill & chissel a lot. Otherwise its a rather nice set. Landing gear legs seem quite thick (Su-33 ones).
  6. I dont know why are they doing this new conversion. Better result would be achieved with the old conversion & new exhaust like CMK set. Thats just my opinion. or maybe wait for Eduard PF & than make a conversion for that kit.
  7. I have to say that I'm rather dissapointed & I have to say that i'm not sure that I will buy a new bis wich is probably myfavourite aeroplane. I made a lot of chages on the old Academy & since this is not going to be an improvment that I expected I dont need a new bis kit wich is not a bis AGAIN. Also i'm rather dissapointed since the bis was the most produced version of MiG-21 much more than MF (so much more camuflage options) & it still doesnt deserve a new fuselage. Laurent I think that a most of Eduard customers are not from Czech Republic, so I think that Eduard should try
  8. Javier i was wondering what is the cockpit colour that you used on this bird? Regards, Gianni
  9. I have these seats from several manufacturers (Aires, Pavla, Neomega, Blackbox) & they are quite different in shape. So I was wondering which one is the most accurate. To me Aires seat looks the best, but I'm not quite sure. I need quite a few of these seats for my birds, so I would like to get the most accurate one.
  10. Whats the deal with this camo? last time I cheked Egypt was mostly desert. Orange recognizing triangles, but then pink and black. They just might be wearing "Please shoot me down".
  11. I have Kazan MiG-23 set (for the MLD). The set is a huge improvment over the kit but i doesn't really fix the shape issues, not completely. I plan to use it but also I'm doin' a lot of scratchbuilding. Whole front section of Italeri kit is actually is a bit to high.
  12. I'm sorrx but I dont agree with you Petravu on the cockpit- I have seen nicelly built SOL pits built. Its bo Aire but Academy pit has a car like seat.
  13. Let me get this strait. WM set needs Aires cockpit, SAC legs & new aftermarket exhaust & this makes it better & cheaper then SOL how?! I know SOL set is a really hard to work with but its almost a whole thing. One can get a better cockpit & exhaust but doesn't have too. WM needs a lot more stuff & $$$$$$.
  14. Dont forget that you really need a cockpit for this one. You can't possibly leave Academy pit there. SOL conversion is much more extencive than this. It included the cockpit and the exhaust, metal legs too. FYI SOL conversion has as I remember aprox 100 trees of resin parts. Yes not just he parts but resin trees. Do you still think it costs to much.
