  1. Heck of a project and for a great reason, Dave! Balls to the wall!!
  2. I'd love to see among many, preferably from Tamiya, Eduard, Airfix, Revell of Germany, Hasegawa, AMK, Kinetic or Great Wall, the following: 1/48th scale: F-35 series F-100D/F F-14 (This from Tamiya) Hawker Sea Fury Mirage F-1 series C-46 F-86A/E/H FJ-2/3 Fury Su-27 Series MiG-25's F-80A/C F-82 F-111 Series OV-10A/D Blackburn Buccaneer B-17E/F/G 1/32nd scale: F-86A/E/H Sabre P-47D Razorback Mirage 2000 series Mirage F-1 P-51B (come on Tamiya) F4U-4 (come on Tamiya) Best to all my fellow modelers in 2016! Lonnie
  3. As usual, your work is outstanding!
  4. Hi Tourist, Thanks! Much appreciated. I'll move forward now. I've pretty much settled on Urban Drew's 'Detroit Miss'. I've been looking for photos that might show me what his aircraft may have looked like around the time he shot down the 262's in Oct. 1944. I've found photos of his aircraft but no joy on seeing if he had the K-14 retrofitted by that time. Happy modeling and happy Mustangs! Lonnie Berry Miami, FL
  5. Hi All, I just received the Tamiya 32 scale Mustang and I am going to build it as a 361st FG Yellow Noser. The ones I am considering are all P-51D-15-NA. Tamiya gives us the options for the N-9 and K-14 gun sights and the early and late instrument panel coaming. I was hoping someone could answer the questions below. 1. Which gun sight is correct for the D-15 and, if the N-9, would they have retrofitted the K-14 at any time? 2. Which coaming is correct for the D-15, early or late style, and if early, if they did retrofit the K-14 would that also mean a change in the instrument panel coaming?
  6. Hi Cyrus, Damn! Cut that out. You make us mortals feel, well, like mortals. But I know your secret to rescribing: You found Barbara Eden in that Jeannie bottle. Come clean Cyrus, admit it! It's Jeannie doing all that rescribing for you.....isn't it? ;) Lonnie Miami, Florida
  7. Hi Cyrus! Just your typical effort! Looks, as usual, unbelievable. I'll tell the MachMaster to check it out. See you in LA this August! Lonnie Miami, Florida
  8. When I was a kid, I always wanted to find Aladdin's majic lamp.....where did you find it!! Unreal!
  9. Cyrus, You don't cease to amaze. I sent the Machmaster the link so he could take a peek. Lonnie Miami, FL.
