Falcon, when were you there today taking pictures? Who do you work with that allows you to take pictures on the 419th ramp? I was out there from about 4:00 pm to about 6:00 pm. I'm attatched to the 419th, in a support squadron of them. I just went through the 419th PAO and I'm off and running. :D Duane

As promist, I got out to the 466th FS today and took as many pictures as I could while they are still around. I was talking to one of the maintance guys and he told me that the planes are now in limbo, one of the squadrons that were supposed to get some of them are not now, and the other squadron doesn't want them, anybody want some slightly used F-16s? Also, those that are familiar with the 419th FW area, the big hanger that is prity much the last building on the southern end of Hill AFB that they used for parking there F-16s in, is no longer theirs. These were actually the only two shots I took of any 466th vipers from a couple of weeks ago when I was taking pictures of the visiting 159th FS F-15s. A photo visit is in the the works and I'll try and cover as many planes as I can with full walk arounds to kind of document an end of an era. Duane :)

Here are a couple of F-16s from the 466th FS I got a couple weeks back. I just found out this morning playing golf with a MX guy from the 466th that they will start sending their F-16s to there new owners a couple at a time come this fall and will all be gone by the end of next September. ;) They won't quite dead though, when Cannon AFB sends up there F-16s here to Hill AFB, the 466th will "barrow" vipers from the 388th FW. Still, I'll miss seeing the yellow and black tails flying around. Duane

You mean these things? Yea, there going up fast. There great for the maintance guys, but taking pictures if the F-16s is becoming harder and harder. If you are planning to come up, make it sooner rather than later, there going up fast. Duane

Yep, there still here, had a little problem getting photos of them though, called a SMSgt that didn't want pictures of "his" taken.

Here are some shots from the Hill AFB flightline today. LC-130s from the NY ANG, it was about 90 degrees today, a bit warmer here than where there going! And some local vipers. One of my favorit F-16s here. Duane

I am in need of some photos of NB-52B#52-0008, yea the old NASA drop ship. I am after any, but I'm really after it with the scaled down version of the F-15 when the glide tests were being done. Also, where is 'balls eight' at now, dose anybody know? Thanks for any help. Duane :P

Hey all, with Fathers Day coming up, I thought I'd give all you fathers a little presant. I got the chance to take pictures of the 159th FS that was here at Hill AFB for the last two weeks the other day. I was lucky I went out when I did, they left to go home the next day!!! It was a great oppertunity to see them, and even better to get to photograph them. Have a great Fathers Day to all. Duane an F-15A with AIM-120 and AIM-9X!!! :lol:

I got to go out on the Reserve ramp today to get these guys. Yep, did a full walk around of all of them not too often to get to see the 159th here in Utah. I'm just trying convince someone to do decals for me! Anybody else interested in seeing these guy done? <_< Duane ;)

Here is a shot I forgot to add, probably 99% of the people at the show never knew these guys flew over. I heard them and took a shot at taking a picture of them. It's a KC-10 and five F-16s. It helps to have a 300mm lens with you! Duane

Ahhh, the pier pressure!!!!! Ok guy's I'll get you a couple of more. :P First off, of th F-22s that are here, most are from the 27th FS, but there are a few from the 94th FS. From what I'm guessing this is the bulk of the F-22s from Langley, I don't know how many went up to Alaska, but I heard that there are a few at some other loactions also is small groups, but there are several here. Anyway, hope you like them. Hopefully Darth Scott won't use the "Dark Side" on me. :D Duane

For those that don't live around Hill AFB, Utah you've missed out seeing these guys flying around for the last few weeks. After getting clearances from everybody including Santa I was able to get on the flightline and take pictures. Hopefully they will have a couple out at the air show this weekend, beautiful airplane! :) Sorry Scott, but I had to post at least one of them.
