  1. I'm with Darren, I am working on the intakes and think this was over engineered and something simpler could have been done. I prefer having intakes showing than a cover over the opening.
  2. Depending on what version you are building. The later MiG-29s have them, they are a type of missile warning system, sorry I dont know what the actual nomenclature is or what the designation is, but they are usually white, though I have seen a off gray from time to time. So you will just have to look at your references. Duane
  3. I am looking for Furball Decals 1/48 Mig Masters: F-8 Crusaders of the Vietnam War sheet. I come to find out that Col. Dick Schaffert attends the same church as I do, actually sat next to him today, and I'm looking to do a VF-111 Crusader. It's a long shot, but does anyone have a extra sheet they would be willing to sell. Let me know, thanks. Duane
  4. I wish I had known you were going to be doing this, I've got a walk around of an E from the Utah National Guard last year with some nice markings.
  5. How long did your order arrive? I just ordered mine from Hobbyeasy the other day and this is the first time I've ordered from them.
  6. Has anyone used the 1/48 EA-6B cockpit in the Kinetic kit? Is it much like their other cockpits, look great, but are a bear to fit? Any help would be great. Duane
  7. Here is one I have. It's a great book, lots of reference pictures. https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/HMHP005
  8. So I have a model that I picked up some Hataka paint to use and I've never used their paints before, so I'm after any tips, suggestions, etc. All I have is the paint (USAF Aggressor brown set) and a bottle of their lacquer thinner. Does it need a primer before hand? I've used Model Master most of my building life and have done some Vallejo Air painting. Thanks for any suggestions. Duane
  9. Excuse my lack of knowledge of P-38 versions, but with Tamiya's G/F kit coming, can an E be made? I know that the canopy opens different and the engines are different, but externally is there too much of a difference to do?
  10. I am looking for the 77th Bombardment Group side of the Italeri B-25G decal sheet. If anyone has these and have no plans to use them, I have a definite use for them. Duane
  11. Hello all, I'm in search of the decals off the F-15J version of the kit, mainly just the squadron emblems from 303rd FS. If anyone can help, please let me know, thanks. Duane
  12. Quiet, shes right next too me. Your going to blow my story that I am in need of more kits!
  13. I'm about start working on the Academy 1/35 kit, so I'm after any references also. I came across this FB post a little bit back, I can't remember how, so whoever did post it, thank you. It's a very nice walk around of a Z. HTH https://m.facebook.com/oneofive.thud/albums/276547762457818/
  14. I am in need of help, I have somehow lost my air brake for my 1/48 Hasegawa F-18D, damn carpet monster. Does anyone happen to have one? Duane
  15. I'm thinking post Vietnam, but I'm still in the planning phase, maybe in the late 70s into the 80s.
  16. Thank you for the help Gary. The tanker intruder hasn't been done a bunch in decal form, so I'm looking at what I can do. I have a couple of the Aeromaster Nimitz Cruise sheets that have VA-35 which I'm leaning towards.
  17. So I'm planning a 1/48 KA-6D and I have the Cobra Co. conversion and Steel Beach set and have a question, how common was it for them to fly with a Buddy Pod on the center? I would think it's for a back-up for the built-in refueling system. Also, did every Intruder squadron have KA-6Ds? Thanks. Duane
  18. I have another F-14B kit on EBay. This one I had a couple of weeks ago, but buyer never paid, so here's another shot. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hasegawa-1-48-Scale-F-14B-Tomcat-Jolly-Rogers-VF-103-Last-Flight-w-extras-/303083403489
  19. The only thing I've got was a couple of years back a -53 was here at the Hill AFB air show, but I'm sure you've covered them to death.
