  1. Hi All, It has been a while since I was here. I am getting back into this hobby and want to build Trumpeter's 1/32 P-38L into a contest model. Therefore I am looking for Cutting Edge's P-38J/L cockpit set, but am also interested to buy the conversion set. Though not the F-5 photo recce set. I am located in The Netherlands and can pay through PayPal or wire transfer. Thank you for looking, Michiel Nijkamp
  2. Hi all, Titel says it all. I am back into modelling again after a 6 year break and started off with Revell's F-15B that was still in my heavily dimished stockpile. It is coming along nice, but I just think it will look better with a centerline tank that is not included in the Revell kit. So, does anybody have a 1/32 F-15 centerline he or she is nog going to use and is willing to sell or give away. I am located in the Netherlands. I have PayPal. Hope somebody can help. Many thanks in advance, Michiel
  3. Yes I do, but progress is very slow. Live often gets in the way.... Just too many things to do and too little time. Groeten! Michiel
  4. Excellent work Henk! Keep it coming! btw. Chris is a great guy. I had quite a few beers with him during weekdays at Volkel. Cheers, Michiel
  5. Do you accept PayPal? And, do you ship overseas? Regards, Michiel
  6. Gents, I just read the (closed) thread about the 787 beaing a death rattle and things about Dan Rather. Now, i have no idea who Dan Rather is, but I do know a lfew things about composites that I would like to mention as I thought they needed to be said in regard to the article. I am a structure technology engineer at the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratoy (NLR) and designing, producing and testing composites structures is what I do for a living. I wanted to chime in and say that there really is some truth to the story, biased or not. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics ((CFRPs) just one genera
  7. Not too hard, I would say. Mainly it would need a drastic cockpit change and new tail. The rest of the chances are even easier.
  8. Haha, enough with the DACO book advice than? But keep in mind, if you have your references sorted, you might not need to buy that much aftermarket stuff you do not need. Thus, you could save money... Although I'm not sure wat you mean with a couple of things you mentioned, i believe you covered most of it. Next to the P&W nozzle (as pollie mentioned) you'd also need to change the gear legs. The B.50 gears are beafed up, though I think nobody will notice the difference. Plus, the gears of the hasegawa kit aren't completely correct as well. I do think you'd be better of if you'd start with
  9. haha, you're kidding right? Too many photo's? This is a winner at any contest and you know it! Sure is just to be proud of your work! Well done! Cheers, Michiel
