  2. Hi Paul, Yea, missed them when they first came out, wish Victory would re-release them again. I heard it was a nice sheet. I am going to buy the 1/32 ones anyway as I like building 1/32 as well. Regards, Robert
  3. But I can't seem to find anyone of them anywhere. Especially the Victory sheet. Robert
  4. I started looking for decals for the Hasegawa 1/48 F-104C to replace the kit supplied decals, but was not able to find any. Were there not that many schemes or is there just no interest in the plane? Robert
  5. LOL, I swear, every time I get on here 11bee and Taiidan Tomcat are having a serious debate. I think you two need to get a room! I will say this, you guys make for good reading if anything. Robert
  6. There are still new modelers entering the hobby, believe it or not. I still get asked every once in awhile about kits that are have been around for a long time. Robert
  7. Welcome to the forums Eric! You are on the right track, and both Vallejo and Tamiya paints in my opinion are create paints to use. In regards to drying time, you don't really need to wait 24 hour with the primer and paints. I personally only wait a half an hour after priming to start painting. Tamiya panel line wash should not bother any acrylic clear coat if allowed to dry overnight. If not sure test it first on a scrap model or a part you are not going to use. Below are my steps. 1) wash model let air dry overnight 2) spray primer, let dry for about 1/2 hour 3) spray all top coats,
  8. Wow, you did a really nice job on this old kit. It nice to see them done up right. Robert
  9. You should also contact IPMS they have a Make'n'Take program. They can supply kits and other assistance. One of our local clubs conducts a Make'n'Take once a month at the museum we hold our meetings at. Also contact Revell, they might be able to help also. Suggestion, keep it simple and make it fun. If you try to delve too deep into it you will bore the kids. Remember, it’s not like when we were kids, kids today want instant gratification. Robert
  10. Here is a good article on working with resin, it will explain everything to help you get started on it. To answer your question though, super glue (Cyanoacrylate) or two part epoxy resin to glue your parts together. If you are not sure how to use them, google it and there are several tutorials on how to best use them with some tips as well. http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/modelling/111265-how-prepare-resin-models-construction-painting.html Robert
  11. Weekend bump. Some prices adjusted. I will be adding additional kits this weekend as well. Robert
  12. Hi Guys, If you didn't use the Hamilton Propellers from the newer released kit of the 1/48 B-29, I would like to buy them from you. If you have a set you want to get rid of, please PM or email me at rogar(at)tampabay.rr.com Thanks, Robert

  14. Thanks guys, will have to try and find good pictures of which ever B-29 I decide to do. Robert
  15. I been looking at my 1/48 Monogram B-29 that I have had in the stash for the past 20 years and decided that I am going to build it this year. My question is, what if any corrections do I need to make to represent a Korean War B-29 other than the decals of course? I already have the True Details Hamilton Props as well as their resin wheels for the kit. Robert
  16. I don't know what the part looks like, but would it be too difficult to create it with clear sprue? Robert
  17. Do you really believe they would show us the back side of the moon? They can't reveal the alien space station placed there to the general public!
  18. Here is a quick video. EPIC View of Moon Transiting the Earth This animation features actual satellite images of the far side of the moon, illuminated by the sun, as it crosses between the DSCOVR spacecraft's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) and telescope, and the Earth - one million miles away.
